Complaints
An ongoing neighbor dispute was reported at 9:51 a.m. Wednesday on Pierce Street. A caller reported there is a lot of “drinking, partying and yelling” that happens around 2 a.m. She thought the owner of the house had been having parties late at night. She just wanted it noted in the log that “they were out partying all night.”
A caller reported a large group of teens were “drinking and smoking weed” by the Causeway wall on Ocean Avenue at 3:08 p.m. Wednesday. Police didn’t see any drug activity or open containers.
A report of gunshots at 9:06 p.m. Wednesday on Devereux Terrace. A caller reported hearing gunshots in the area. Police told her there have been many calls for fireworks in surrounding communities. The caller later said she thinks the sound may have been from fireworks.
Fire
A report of a fire at 6:18 p.m. Wednesday on Front Street. A caller reported there was possibly an electrical fire because her stove top was smoking. She was advised to leave her home while firefighters handled the issue.
Theft
A report of a larceny/forgery/fraud at 10:08 a.m. Wednesday on High Street. COVID financial fraud was reported.
Unemployment fraud was reported at 5:29 p.m. Wednesday on Pleasant Street.
NAHANT
Animal Control
Police received a call from an unknown person at 11:51 a.m. Wednesday who reported baby ducks had fallen down the drain on the outbound side of the causeway. The mother duck and one baby duck were in the road, and the caller stated they had pulled over so the ducks didn’t get hit by traffic. An officer was dispatched to the area.
Complaints
An unknown caller at 10:28 p.m. Wednesday reported a group in the DCR entrance lot playing music and being disruptive. Units were dispatched to clear the area, but only reported one vehicle in the area with one occupant.
Police received a call at 3:06 p.m. Wednesday from a resident who reported a party on a purple bicycle “acting suspicious” near the Johnson School.
Police received a call at 2:53 p.m. Wednesday from a resident who believed she had been the victim of identity theft because she provided her Social Security number to someone she thought was a representative of L.L. Bean.
Police received a call at 7:36 p.m. Tuesday from a party calling to complain he was just involved in a road rage incident on the Nahant causeway inbound. The caller did not wish to pursue the incident any further and said he just wanted it on record.
Citizen Assist
A caller at 2 p.m. Wednesday reported two young girls were walking in the outbound lane on the causeway. An officer was dispatched and reported the parties had a bad Uber ride and were dropped in the middle of the causeway.

Complaints
A caller reported a coyote was in the area at 1:49 p.m. Wednesday at 144 Walker Road. Police advised the caller to leave the animal alone. The town’s animal control officer was notified.
A caller reported there was a seal on the beach at 2:57 p.m. Wednesday at Eisman’s Beach, 235 Puritan Road.
A report of suspicious activity at 8:44 p.m. Wednesday at Foster Road and Tidd Street; at 9:28 p.m. Wednesday at 15 Mountain Ave. A caller reported there was a vehicle parked across from their residence with several people inside. The car had reportedly been parked there for more than an hour.
