New coronavirus cases, but no additional deaths were reported in Lynn and Revere on Thursday.
Several other North Shore communities reported no changes in their case counts or did not provide updated numbers.
The numbers reflect a trend of declining case counts in the region, which has been consistent since early May.
Sixteen new cases were reported in Lynn on Thursday, which brings the city’s caseload to 3,601. Ninety-five people have died from the virus and 2,602 people have recovered, according to city data.
Revere reported three new cases on Thursday, which reflects its seven-day average of 3.4 new cases per day. Eighty people have died from COVID-19 illness and 1,457 residents have recovered, according to city data.
Numbers remained the same in Nahant (42 cases and six deaths) and Lynnfield (96 cases and 11 deaths) on Thursday.
At press time, Marblehead, Peabody, Saugus and Swampscott had not provided updated numbers.
As of Wednesday, Marblehead has 228 cases and 30 deaths, Peabody has 1,038 cases and 159 deaths, Saugus has 554 cases and 34 deaths, and In Swampscott, 128 people have been infected and eight have died.
