They removed the barrels, yes. Now you can park along the Lynn Shore Drive to go to the beach.
Now they have fences up with grass seed growing on the top and bottom.
There is no place now to get out of your car on the passenger side. You have to get out on the driver’s side. Imagine taking out your kids to go to the beach. This is an extremely dangerous situation.
The top used to be used as a sidewalk, bike path, and a place to get out of your car. Yes, there are a few areas that you can walk down, if you can find them and if no one is parked there. Also the area where people let their dogs go (they usually pick up) is now fenced off and dogs have to go on the sidewalk.
Is this about the virus or about the grass? Lynn beach belongs to the taxpayers.
We have people rallying for many reasons at Governor Baker’s house in large groups, coming here from other cities and states, some have masks, some don’t. I have to walk six feet apart with a mask in the same location.
I have been walking four miles from my home to Red Rock and back and see all of these happenings. They are disturbing.
