Lynn, Peabody and Revere reported additional deaths on Monday, while new coronavirus cases were reported in several other North Shore communities.
While Lynn’s death toll continues to creep toward the century mark, Peabody has reported an additional five deaths since Friday, which brings its virus toll to 146, according to Peabody Health Director Sharon Cameron.
In Lynn, two more deaths were reported over the weekend. As of Monday, 93 residents have died from the virus, according to city data.
Revere reported an additional death on Monday, which brings the city’s death toll to 78, according to the city website.
In Lynn, 3,523 residents have been infected, but 1,952 people have recovered from the virus. Five new cases were reported on Monday, according to city data.
Peabody has 1,021 virus cases, but 631 residents have recovered. Nine new cases have been reported since Friday, according to Cameron.
There have been 1,729 cases in Revere, with eight new cases reported on Monday — 1,381 residents have recovered from the virus, according to the city website.
New cases, but no additional deaths, were reported in Lynnfield and Swampscott on Monday.
With two new cases, Lynnfield now has 95 cases and 11 deaths. Swampscott, at 126 cases and eight deaths, reported three new cases on Monday.
Numbers remained the same in Nahant (41 cases and six deaths) and Saugus (536 cases and 31 deaths) and were not updated in Marblehead.
As of last Wednesday, Marblehead has 224 cases and 30 deaths.
