A report of a suspicious motor vehicle at 5:03 p.m. Tuesday at 17 Wheeler St. A caller reported a car was running for more than an hour. The car was towed and Ronald Cano Rodriguez, 22, of 58 Medford St., Apt. 731, Charlestown, was summoned for operating with a revoked registration and uninsured motor vehicle.
A report of suspicious activity at 6:55 p.m. Tuesday at Peabody Library at 82 Main St. A caller reported a male was shaking a can of spray paint next to the library. Police reported the call was unfounded.
A report of a disturbance at 10:05 p.m. Tuesday at 23 Warren St. A caller reported the upstairs neighbor keeps being loud. Police spoke with the family on the third floor who reported it was hard to walk softly, but they will try harder. The family will be moving out in two months.
A disturbance was reported at 12:26 p.m. Wednesday at Leather City Commons at 77 Lowell St. A caller reported a man in the park was yelling at people as they walked by. Police told the man not to yell at people as they were walking by.
Theft
A report of a larceny at 11:14 p.m. Tuesday at 5 Silverleaf Way. A caller reported a mover she hired had stolen her cellphone. The iPhone X is valued at $1,200.
A report of a stolen motor vehicle at 10:23 a.m. Wednesday at 10 Bartholomew St. A man walked into the police station to report his son’s car was stolen.
Vandalism
A report of vandalism at 11:02 a.m. Wednesday at 10 Madison Ave. A caller reported the window on his truck was broken.
SAUGUS
Complaints
Police received a call at 6:50 a.m. Thursday about an unwanted party in front of Jo-Ann Fabrics on Broadway. Dispatched officers spoke with the male party and determined the man was waiting for a ride and would be off the property shortly.
A caller at 12:47 a.m. Thursday reported a verbal argument between a male and a female party on Osprey Road. An officer was dispatched for more information.
Police received a walk-in report at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday from a woman who reported her brother was threatened with a firearm and was too afraid to report, so she felt the need to come in and report it herself. Dispatched officers determined that two males had an argument earlier in the day, but no threat was currently detected.
A caller at 7:57 p.m. Wednesday reported a male broke into his home on Woodbury Avenue and was asking for tools. Officers were dispatched and determined the suspect did not make entry into the home and left in a silver four-door hatchback. A report was taken.
Police received a call at 1:41 p.m. Wednesday from a resident who reported an ongoing issue with hiring someone for registration work on a motorcycle who was not returning the vehicle. Officers were dispatched to Gilway and determined the issue was a civil matter from 14 years ago.
Theft
A woman walked into the station at 9:11 a.m. Thursday to report her license plate was stolen while her vehicle was in custody of an auto body shop. A report was completed and the plate was entered into the system.
