Ezequiel Aranda, 29, of 179 Winnisimmet St., Chelsea, was arrested and charged with drinking in public and on warrant charges of Class A drug possession, Class A drug distribution, Class B drug possession and conspiracy to violate the drug law at 5:23 p.m. Wednesday. 

Fredy Tun-Lopez, 36, of 159 Essex St., was arrested and charged with trespassing/park rule at 9:49 p.m. Wednesday. 


A report of a motor vehicle crash at 2:49 p.m. Wednesday at 16 Sanderson Ave.; at 11:52 p.m. Wednesday at 114 Holyoke St.; at 3:20 a.m. Thursday at 130 Neptune Blvd.; at 5:39 a.m. Thursday at Speedway Gas Station at 120 Liberty St. 

A report of a motor vehicle crash with personal injury at 2:57 p.m. Wednesday at AL Prime Energy at 969 Western Ave.; at 3:06 p.m. Wednesday at 803 Western Ave. 

A report of a motor vehicle hit and run crash at 9:26 a.m. Thursday at Baltimore Street and Chase Lane. 


A report of a gunshot at 10:29 p.m. Wednesday at 7 St Clair St.; at 11:05 p.m. Wednesday at 95 Chatham St.  


A report of a larceny at 3:49 p.m. Wednesday at 45 Shepard St.; at 4:58 p.m. Wednesday at 300 Lynn Shore Drive; at 6:50 p.m. Wednesday at Dillons Liquors at 53 Union St.; at 7:37 a.m. Thursday at 61 N Common St.

A report of vandalism at 1:01 p.m. Wednesday at 60 Granite St.; at 8:36 a.m. Thursday at 330 Essex St.  

A report of motor vehicle vandalism at 1:13 p.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph’s Cemetery at 133 Broadway. 



A report of a rollover motor vehicle crash at 12:49 a.m. Thursday on Maple Street. 


A caller reported she had a verbal argument with a neighbor she did not want on her property at 10:32 a.m. Wednesday on Mariners Lane. The caller said the man called her a “smart(expletive) (bi—).” 

A caller reported she was leaving Baldwin Road at 11:44 a.m. Wednesday when two women came barreling down the street outbound on Pleasant Street and went through a red light. The caller had a green light at the time and said the two cars went through the light at more than 30 mph. She said she had never seen two morons run the light like that before. She wanted an officer to hide in the area for future red light violations and mentioned that if she had not been going slowly in the intersection, there would have been a horrific accident and she would be dead.  

A report of a disturbance at 11:06 p.m. Wednesday on Buchanan Road. A caller reported there was loud music, loud people and lots of swearing. Police reported the noise was from a family gathering at a fire pit. The group agreed to go inside for the night. 


A stolen bicycle was reported at 11:44 a.m. Wednesday on Jersey Street. The caller said a metallic gray women’s trek bicycle was stolen from her driveway a couple of days prior to the report. 

A report of a larceny/forgery/fraud at 5:56 p.m. Wednesday on Jane Road. A person walked into the police station to report identity theft. 



A report of a motor vehicle crash at 3:14 p.m. Wednesday at Summit Variety at 145 Summit St. Juan G. Santana, 19, was summoned for driving with a suspended license. 

A motor vehicle crash was reported at 4:17 p.m. Wednesday at The UPS Store at 300 Andover St. A silver Porsche reportedly crashed into a building. The building inspector was notified. 

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 6:51 a.m. Thursday at St. John’s Church at 17 Chestnut St.; at 1:05 p.m. Thursday at Speedway at 545 Lowell St. One driver was taken to Lahey North. Edward Beardsell, 58, of 200 Jubilee Drive, was summoned for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs. 


A report of suspicious activity at 8:23 p.m. Wednesday at iStorage Peabody at 244 Andover St. A caller reported a suspicious person was walking up and down the street and seemed to be carrying a metal detector or shovel. An officer reported the person was out looking for treasures. 


A report of a larceny at 8:14 p.m. Wednesday at Mobile Estates at 286 Newbury St. A man walked into the station to report his roommate was withholding his money from him. After some conversation, the two men involved agreed to go home together without further issue. 

A larceny was reported at 9:38 p.m. Wednesday at Sonic Drive-In at 55 Newbury St. A caller reported an employee stole her debit card number and made an UberEats purchase for $120. 



A report of suspicious activity at 8:41 a.m. Wednesday at 72 Bradlee Ave.; at 11:08 a.m. Wednesday at 1002 Paradise Road; at 1:22 p.m. Wednesday at 209 Humphrey St.; at 5:12 p.m. Wednesday on Columbia Street.
