A report of a motor vehicle crash at 8:09 a.m. Monday on Pleasant Street.
A motor vehicle crash was reported at 5:37 p.m. Monday on Washington Street. A mail carrier reported her mail truck was struck while she was parked by another car and thought the other driver was intoxicated. Police reported there was no damage to the mail truck and the driver was sober.
Complaints
A report of a strange person in the neighborhood at 2:41 p.m. Monday on Arnold Terrace. A woman walked into the police station to report she had noticed a person with a mask and hat on who was just hanging around the neighborhood. She had later received a message that the person who was loitering around the street had stolen an ATV and was recently arrested.
A report of suspicious activity at 5:16 p.m. Monday on Mohawk Road. A caller reported her 7-year-old daughter was out front and when she went outside, her daughter told her that “a car drove by three times checking her out.” The car was reportedly driven by a man who had a female passenger. Police reported the people did not attempt to speak with the caller’s daughter. The car had just looped around the block a few times.
Vandalism
A report of vandalism at 9:15 a.m. Monday on Atlantic Avenue. A caller reported a door by the tennis courts was kicked in.
PEABODY
Arrest
David Foley, 38, of 300 Lagrange St., West Roxbury, was arrested on four warrants at 1:24 p.m. Monday.

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 5:03 p.m. Sunday at Loureiro Flooring at 65 Central St.; at 2:18 p.m. Monday at 10 Lynnfield St.; at 2:02 p.m. Tuesday at Verizon Wireless at 262 Andover St.
A report of a motor vehicle hit and run crash at 10:48 p.m. Sunday at 56 Northend St.
A motor vehicle crash was reported at 11:40 p.m. Monday on Sanborn Street. A large tractor trailer reportedly struck some bushes and possibly a parked car. The truck was stuck on the street.
Breaking and Entering
A report of a motor vehicle breaking and entering at 5:27 p.m. Sunday at Tannery Apartments at 50 Warren St. A caller reported someone had broken into her vehicle and stolen a MacBook, valued at $1,400.
Complaints
A report of suspicious activity at 3:52 p.m. Sunday at 47 Blaney St. A caller reported that kids who were not from the neighborhood were sitting on the curb. Police reported the call was unfounded.
Suspicious activity was reported at 4:58 p.m. Sunday at Peabody Dog Park at 34 Perkins St. A caller reported two males were shooting cans with a “22” on the path through the woods behind the dog park. Witnesses reported the weapon was a BB gun. The pellet gun was secured at the police station until a parent could pick it up.
A report of suspicious activity at 11:01 a.m. Monday at TD Bank at 637 Lowell St. A bank employee reported a customer was trying to cash a $9,600 personal check in order to meet up with a scammer. Police are investigating.
Theft
A report of a stolen motor vehicle at 9:08 a.m. Monday at 4 Washington St. A stolen moped was reported.
A report of a larceny at 12:13 p.m. Monday at 29 Harrison Ave. Credit card fraud was reported.
A larceny was reported at 1:24 p.m. Monday at 111 Main St. A caller reported a bearded man stole her son’s Jordans from the common area of her apartment. The Jordan sneakers were recovered and returned to the owner. David Foley, 38, of West Roxbury, was arrested on warrants (see arrests) and summoned for larceny.
SAUGUS
Accidents
A utility company requested police assistance at 1:43 p.m. Monday, reporting a car avoided the company’s truck and popped a tire on the sidewalk on Collins Avenue. The car’s driver was requesting insurance information from the utility company and was giving the workers a hard time. Dispatched officers state the vehicle was gone prior to arrival and that the company’s truck was not in the roadway.
Complaints
Police received a call at 8:26 p.m. Monday from a resident reporting a vandalism that took place the previous night on Hobson Street. Dispatched officers reported no damage was done, trash was gone prior to arrival, and no camera footage was available.
A caller at 3:50 p.m. Monday reported damage had been done to the park on Central Street overnight. An officer was dispatched for more information. The Department of Public Works reported it would speak to the park’s paint manufacturer.
Police received a call at 1:55 p.m. Monday about a vehicle operating erratically in the area of Kappy’s on Broadway. The caller’s number was taken and the information was given to state police.
Well-being Check
A 911 caller at 5:27 a.m. reported a male in a white motor vehicle who appeared to be breathing but was unresponsive. Officers were dispatched to Dunkin Donuts on Broadway and reported the male party was breathing on arrival. All checked out.
