LYNN — Five people were shot at Curwin Circle Friday evening, according to the Lynn Police Department. There were no life-threatening injuries.
According to Lynn Police Lt. Rick Donnelly, multiple calls came in around 9 p.m. reporting a shooting incident at Curwin Circle.
Three victims were found to have been shot at the scene — one in the foot, one in the leg, and one in the back — and were transported with non-life-threatening injuries. Two other victims arrived at the hospital later.
According to Donnelly, police received information on Friday that there may have been a party going on in the area.
“It was a gathering of individuals who recently had a friend pass away,” Lynn Police Lt. Michael Kmiec said on Sunday night.
No arrests have been made, and the matter is under investigation, Donnelly said. There is no further information available at this time.
