Mikael Brown-Cox, 23, of 13 Clarendon Ave., was arrested and charged with two counts of assault and battery, two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, carrying a firearm without a license, carrying a loaded firearm weapon, large capacity weapon/feeding firearm, and discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a building at 11:15 p.m. Sunday.
Mark Schwarz, 46, of 44 Essex St., was arrested and charged with attempting to commit a crime at 10:20 p.m. Sunday.

A Rowland Street caller complained about a dumpster next door that had its lid open at 8:31 a.m. Sunday. The caller said it had been an ongoing problem for years and that he had already notified the town’s health department. He wanted to take the time to report it to police as well.

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 10:38 p.m. Sunday at Maddy’s Car Wash at 300 Andover St. A car into a pole was reported.
A report of a motor vehicle hit and run crash at 1:59 p.m. Monday at Hudson Professional Services at 4 Shillaber St. Jeanne Nelson, 68, of 53 Pierpont St., was summoned for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident with property damage.

A report of a suspicious motor vehicle at 9:46 p.m. Sunday at 40 Trask Road. A caller reported a truck was idling in front of his home. The occupant was possibly smoking drugs.
A report of suspicious activity at 9:46 p.m. Sunday at 3 Victor Circle. A caller reported a suspicious man in a hooded sweatshirt and sweatpants was skulking around the properties. He was last seen running into the backyard of 4 Victor Circle. Police reported the man was gone upon their arrival.
A report of a suspicious motor vehicle at 2:26 a.m. Monday at 16R North Central St. A caller reported a man who knocked on his door was looking for an apartment that did not exist. Police could not find the man.
A suspicious motor vehicle was reported at 9:32 a.m. Monday at Peabody Veterans Memorial High School at 485 Lowell St. An officer was told a woman may have been assaulting a child in an unknown green vehicle that was last seen on Lowell Street. Police could not find the vehicle.
A report of suspicious activity at 11:52 a.m. Monday at Gedney Drive. A caller reported a water truck had hooked up a hose to a fire hydrant and was pumping water into the truck. An officer checked the neighborhood and could not find the truck.

A motorcycle crash was reported at 2:45 a.m. Friday at Santoro’s Sub-Villa at 259 Essex St. The bike was reportedly pinned on top of the driver. Police reported the bike had fallen onto the driver, but there was no crash. One person was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital.
A report of a motor vehicle crash with personal injury at 3:51 p.m. Friday at J. Pace and Sons at 190 Main St. One person was taken to Melrose-Wakefield Hospital after a two-car crash.
A motor vehicle crash with personal injury was reported at 12:45 a.m. Saturday at 1831 Broadway. Two people were taken to Melrose Wakefield Hospital.

A report of threats at 4:04 p.m. Friday at 10 Clifton St. A caller reported he received a phone call from a man, who threatened to smash out the windows to his vehicle. Police reported there was some damage to an old vehicle in the backyard and advised the resident to call 911 if anyone came to his home.
A report of a disturbance at 8:35 p.m. Friday at Red Roof Inn at 920 Broadway. A caller reported a customer was saying that she was seeing ghosts and was causing a verbal altercation. Police reported there was a disagreement between the woman and hotel staff over changing rooms. There were no signs of impairment and peace was restored.
Theft
A report of a larceny at 12:38 p.m. Sunday at 12 Foss Ave. A man walked into the police station to report his wallet was stolen out of his truck on Saturday night.
Vandalism
A report of vandalism at 8:03 a.m. Friday at Dunkin’ Donuts at 42 Hamilton St. An employee reported a man kicked the door because of the mask policy, which caused damage. The man left in a car.
