An officer discovered new graffiti on the harbor side of the causeway on Ocean Avenue at 9:45 a.m. Thursday.
SAUGUS
Accidents
An officer at 5:39 p.m. Thursday reported a vehicle that had been left in neutral rolled down Kowloon parking lot and smashed into the barrier near Ocean State Job Lot. The vehicle was driveable and the officer attempted to make contact with the owner.
An accident in the area of Hamilton Street was reported at 9:05 a.m. Thursday.
Complaints
Police received a call at 8:42 p.m. Thursday about a male wearing a black sweatshirt, jeans, and a gray backpack who was whispering to himself in the bushes on Essex St. Dispatched officers searched the area and were unable to locate the man.
A caller at 4:58 p.m. Thursday reported a woman was taking pictures of license plates from her car near Petco on Broadway. A search of the area for the woman turned up negative.
Department of Public Works
A blocked storm drain was reported at 8:07 a.m. Friday at Bons Pl. The Department of Public Works was notified.
