A report of a three-car motor vehicle crash at 4:15 p.m. Monday on Atlantic Avenue. One car was reportedly in the caller’s yard.
Breaking and Entering
A report of a burglary/breaking and entering at 11:16 p.m. Monday on Birch Street. A caller reported someone attempted to break into his truck. When the caller noticed the person was near his truck, the suspect took off. Police reported the truck was entered, but nothing was taken. An attempt was made on a second vehicle.
Complaints
A Washington Street caller reported at 1:46 p.m. Monday that her landlord has been entering the building while she has been there and thought it happened while she was not there as well. She said she has a business there and has been attempting to move out. She thought the lack of notice had angered her landlord.

Arrests
Kymber Thomas, 52, of 286 Washington St., Apt. 38, Salem, was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property, daytime motor vehicle breaking and entering for a felony, possession of a burglarious instrument and on a warrant at 6:15 a.m. Tuesday.
Richard Tracchia, 58, of 202 Main St., Wakefield, was arrested on a warrant at 12:33 p.m. Tuesday.

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 4:26 p.m. Monday at Stop & Shop at 19 Howley St.; at 12:47 p.m. Tuesday at McDonald’s at 133 Main St.; at 3:07 p.m. Tuesday at Hallmark Building at 215 Newbury St.
Breaking and Entering
A report of a motor vehicle breaking and entering at 6:15 a.m. Tuesday at 18 Loris Road. A caller reported he saw a woman ride her bicycle up to a car, open the door and take some money from the vehicle. The caller detained the woman until police arrived. Kymber Thomas, 52, of Salem, was arrested (see arrests).
Theft
A report of a larceny at 8:23 p.m. Monday at 33 Pulaski St. A caller reported someone tried to take her jugs of water from the hallway and had damaged them in the process.

Arrest
Frank Bognanno VIII, 26, of Stoneham, was arrested Monday on OUI charges and charges of negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
Accidents
Officers received multiple 911 calls around 6:43 p.m. Monday reporting a car that hit a pole on Water Street. Officers reported taking one male into custody on OUI charges.
A minor motor vehicle accident was reported at 10:38 a.m Monday near the area of Walnut Street. Officers checked the area and the report was unfounded.
Complaints
A caller at 6:24 a.m. Tuesday reported a woman sleeping at the Baybank ATM on Broadway. Officers sent the party on her way.
Police received a call at 8:09 p.m. Monday about a red Mazda driving erratically up and down Oak Hill Road. Dispatched officers sent the driving parties on their way.
A caller at 4:34 p.m. Monday reported hearing a male and female screaming on Essex Street. Dispatched officers spoke with residents. No disturbances reported at that time.
An employee of the Red Roof Inn on Broadway called the station at 11:59 a.m. Monday to report a vending machine was broken into over the weekend. After reviewing the footage, the employee gave officers the room number of the suspect. Officers determined the party was not currently on the scene and the establishment chose not to press charges.
Police received a call at 2:21 a.m. Monday from a party who reported he could hear a male and female screaming in the apartment above. Officers were dispatched to the location on Scotts Mill Court and reported a group of people were talking very loudly. The parties agreed to keep the noise down for the night.
