NAHANT
Complaints
An unknown caller at 7:33 p.m. Wednesday reported 3-4 cars parked on the roadway, just after the Causeway, taking pictures and creating a hazard. A dispatched officer reported no vehicles on the roadway.
A party called the station at 7:09 a.m. Tuesday to complain people were parking in the lot of Coastal Heritage Bank to nap. The caller said three vehicles were parked in the lot for over an hour. Dispatched officers reported one individual was taking a nap.
Police received a report at 6:50 p.m. Tuesday that 6-7 males were smoking marijuana on the rocks near Bayside Function Room. A dispatched officer reported no drug use but removed the parties from the rocks.
Citizens Assist
A caller at 2:52 p.m. Wednesday inquired whether or not Nahant PD will do birthday drive-bys with their vehicles for every child having a birthday during social isolation. The caller was advised Nahant PD is not currently doing this, but was told to check with Nahant FD.
SAUGUS
Complaints
A caller at 5:45 p.m. Thursday reported she heard a domestic disturbance occurring down the hall. Officers were dispatched to Avalon Bay Communities but were unable to locate which apartment the disturbance came from and reported all was quiet upon arrival.
A caller at 1:39 p.m. Thursday reported seeing a silver SUV near Target on the Lynn Fells Pkwy drag a female party then flee. While officers were en route, the caller reported the woman left the scene. Officers were unable to locate her.
Police received a call at 3:00 p.m. Thursday from a woman who reported her neighbors were causing a disturbance about a fence being installed on the property. Officers were dispatched to Hull Dr. and a call number was given to all parties involved.
Animal Control
Police received a call at 12:17 p.m. Thursday from a man who reported his son, 10, was bit by a German Shepherd. Officers were dispatched to the scene at Belmonte Middle School and reported one ambulance refusal. The dog owner and walker was notified of the process and told that animal control would follow up.
