Complaints
A caller at 12:58 p.m. Monday stated that while she was out for a walk on Wilson Avenue, there was a white vehicle parked on the street impeding public access and as the caller passed it, she bumped the vehicle’s rear view mirror. The vehicle owner then got out and began to verbally berate the calling party. The caller wanted police to know about the incident.
Well-being Check
Police received a call at 12:35 p.m. Monday from someone reporting a small boat or dingy that appeared to be in distress in the water off of Spouting Horn Road. An officer was able to make contact with the boat and determined the occupants were not in any distress.

A report of suspicious activity at 3:51 p.m. Monday at Peabody Police Department at 6 Allens Lane. Police spoke with a man who was taking pictures of the front end loader in the rear parking lot. He was sent away.
Suspicious activity was reported at 5:27 p.m. Monday at 30 Shore Drive. A caller reported someone was taking a license plate off of a gray Honda SUV. Police reported the man had the title of the vehicle and was attempting to sell it.

A report of a neighborhood dispute at 2:18 a.m. Tuesday at Extended Stay America at 200 Jubilee Drive. A caller reported another resident tried to punch her. Police reported there was a verbal dispute between the two neighbors.

A backyard fire was reported at 4:30 p.m. Monday on Hilltop Drive. Police reported there was nothing showing.
Theft
A report of a larceny at 8:27 a.m. Tuesday at 19 Howley St. A caller reported a jackhammer was stolen from his pickup truck.
Vandalism
A report of vandalism at 7:19 a.m. at Bay State at 119 Foster St. Two cars were reportedly vandalized overnight. Two catalytic converters were reported stolen.

The manager of Best Buy on Broadway reported at 1:05 p.m. Monday that a male wearing black with a beard was irate at employees and wouldn’t leave. The man was reported to have left at officer arrival.
Disturbances
Police received a call at 4:31 p.m. Monday about a group gathering on the beach at Breakheart Reservation with drinking involved. Officers were dispatched.
A caller at 10:29 p.m. Sunday reported a large gathering with loud music by Soc’s Ice Cream on Falmouth Street. Officers spoke with the homeowner and the music was turned off for the evening.
