Accidents
A report of a motor vehicle hit and run crash at 8:04 p.m. Friday on Lafayette Street. A caller reported a woman in a white car tried to “overtake” him because he was driving slowly. The caller said he went to turn and they “bashed into each other and then she drove off.” He said he went home to tell his parents and the woman came to the house, took a picture of his car and drove off again.
Complaints
A report of a group of kids playing basketball on the JYC court on Community Road at 5:07 p.m. Friday. The group was asked to move along, but they refused and were still playing.
A caller reported her neighbor’s music was too loud at 1:37 p.m. Saturday on Broughton Road. She said she had to turn up the volume on her kid’s TV so they could hear it. Police reported there was nothing playing and that it was 1:40 in the afternoon.
A Londonderry Road caller reported their daughter was being cyber bullied at 3:44 p.m. Sunday.
NAHANT
Complaints
A report of suspicious activity at 2:12 a.m. Sunday at Knights of Columbus on Relay Yard. Police reported there was no impairment. The vehicle’s occupants were looking at the ocean.
A caller reported a sign had gone missing from his property and that his neighbor’s farm animals were causing traffic issues at 3:56 p.m. Sunday on Valley Road.
A report of a suspicious vehicle at 8:31 p.m. Sunday at Wilson Road Rotary on Nahant Road. An officer sent away the driver of a car that was parked on the grass next to the ocean.

Arrests
Nicholas McGrath, 42, of 22 Sunnyside Ave., Saugus, was arrested and charged with two counts of assault and battery on a police officer, assault and battery and disorderly conduct at 7:44 p.m. Saturday.
Taryn N. Morrissey, 40, of 15 Saugus Ave., Saugus, was arrested and charged with malicious damage to a motor vehicle, disorderly conduct and on a warrant at 8:57 p.m. Saturday.
Andrew Paul Nascarella, 35, of 777 East 6th St., Apt. 1, South Boston, was arrested on a warrant at 9:26 p.m. Sunday.

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 11:38 p.m. Sunday at 91 Lynn St. and 2 County St. A caller reported an erratic driver crashed into a light pole. The female driver was taken to Salem Hospital.

A report of an assault and battery at 2:47 p.m. Saturday at Pilgrim Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Center at 96 Forest St. A caller reported a past incident between two patients.
An assault and battery was reported at 7:05 p.m. Saturday on Bartholomew Street. A caller reported she was punched repeatedly in the face by her uncle’s wife.
A report of an assault and battery at 7:44 p.m. Saturday at Extended Stay America at 200 Jubilee Drive. An intoxicated guest reportedly assaulted the front desk clerk. Nicholas McGrath, 42, of Saugus was arrested (see arrests).
Complaints
A report of a suspicious motor vehicle at 5:33 p.m. Friday at Brooksby Village at 100 Brooksby Village Drive. A caller reported a person put a woman in the trunk and was driving around with her in it. Police reported there was a misunderstanding and there was an issue with getting onto the property and past security.
A report of a disturbance at 10:54 a.m. Sunday at Walgreens at 35 Main St. An employee reported a customer was refusing to put on a face mask in the store. Police reported the customer eventually complied and left the store without incident.
A disturbance was reported at 1:38 p.m. Sunday at 45 Country Club Road. A caller from the complex reported a man was outside yelling and then slammed the front door. Police reported the man was talking to his mother, who was on the second floor.
A caller reported approximately 40 to 50 teenagers were congregating in the parking lot at 4:58 p.m. Sunday at Maddy’s Car Wash at 300 Andover St. Police dispersed the gathering.
A caller reported a customer was not wearing a mask and was refusing to leave the store at 6:03 p.m. Sunday at 535 Lowell St. The manager told police the person had left.
A report of suspicious activity at 7:21 p.m. Sunday at Pine Grove at 261C Newbury St. A man wearing a hooded sweatshirt and red bandanna over his face was reportedly taking photos of other people’s property and vehicles. Police reported the man was visiting his aunt and was walking back to his mother’s residence.
A report of suspicious activity at 1:02 a.m. Monday at W.B. Roberts Landscaping at 58R Pulaski St. The company’s owner reported his security camera showed a person crawling under a commercial vehicle by the rear bay doors. The person was reportedly wearing a hooded sweatshirt and carrying a flashlight. Police could not find anyone in the area.
A Herbert Road caller reported someone was yelling for help behind her house on Brookbridge Road at 1:03 a.m. Monday. An officer reported the sound was from an animal making noise.
A report of a suspicious motor vehicle at 9:24 a.m. Monday at Bob Bonsaint and Sons at 94 Foster St. A caller reported a person was passed out in a red Volkswagen. Police reported the driver was waiting for Brothers to open so he could get some food.
A report of suspicious activity at 10:40 a.m. Monday at 45 Gedney Drive and 2 Pzegeo Circle. A caller reported an unknown person was climbing the water tower. Police reported an employee of Heidrea Communications was working on the cell tower.

Complaints
A caller reported a group of people had brought their own lawn chairs and were gathering together near the fire pit at 3:27 p.m. Sunday at 330 Paradise Road. The caller said some may have been wearing masks, but others were not. The group was reportedly not at a safe distance. Police advised the group to keep social distancing.
Fire
A report of a basement fire at 2:26 p.m. Sunday at 54 Aspen Road.
A report of a fire at 7:08 p.m. Sunday at 57 Monument Ave. A caller reported a yellow house that was located near the governor’s house possibly had a fire in the back. Police reported a resident was burning leaves in the backyard. The fire department handled a fire pit that got out of control.
Theft
