Complaints
A caller reported someone put two trash bags in front of his house and it was not his trash at 8:56 p.m. Wednesday on Auburndale Road. The caller was advised that he should be calling the town’s Board of Health, rather than police.
A report of a disturbance at 11:37 p.m. Wednesday on Pleasant Street. A caller reported a woman was outside screaming and carrying on. The woman said she was “loudly venting” and was done.
A caller reported a white man was stealing a grill of hers at 12:46 a.m. Thursday on Bessom Street. The man was reportedly well known to the caller. Both people agreed the man could take the grill, with the exception of a few items.
SAUGUS
Complaints
A caller at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday reported a male party acting erratic and dancing on the side of the road on Lincoln Ave. Dispatched officers spoke to the man and determined all was well.
Thefts
Police received a call at 2:32 p.m. Wednesday from a woman who reported her car was broken into while it was parked on Rice St. Dispatched officers determined a purse was missing.
SWAMPSCOTT
Complaints
A report of suspicious activity at 9:31 a.m. Wednesday at Swampscott Public Library at 61 Burrill St. A caller reported a man who was carrying an ax and hammer was walking toward the monument. Police reported the man was on his way to work at his construction job.
