Karl Miller, 40, of 14 Congress St., was arrested and charged with two counts of shoplifting by asportation, shoplifting by concealing merchandise, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest at 9:56 a.m. Wednesday.
Reginald Shannon, 47, of 208 Walnut St., was arrested and charged with trespassing at 5:52 p.m. Tuesday.

A caller reported surfers were using the park as a locker room at 10:46 a.m. Tuesday on Ocean Avenue.
A report of suspicious activity at 3:54 p.m. Tuesday on Pleasant Street. A caller reported a suspicious man was standing in front of the register and he wouldn’t move. Police reported the man’s wife came to get him.
A report of a disturbance at 1:43 a.m. Wednesday on Merritt Street. A caller reported hearing neighbors yelling loudly at one another. The caller reported it had been getting worse over the past several weeks and that night, it sounded like banging. Police reported all was quiet and the argument may have been over finances.
Theft
A report of a scam at 6:56 p.m. Tuesday on Washington Square. A caller reported she received a call from “Medicare,” and the person claimed they needed information from her, including her name, address, date of birth and bank routing number. She said she gave it to them, but then realized it may have been a scam.

A report of a suspicious motor vehicle at 12:02 a.m. Tuesday at Peabody Shell at 85 Lynnfield St. A caller reported a car pulled over with its hazard lights on and a person was leaning over. Police reported the person was fixing a flat tire.
A report of youths driving in and out of traffic on scooters at 5:38 p.m. Tuesday at St. Vasilios Church at 5 Paleologos St. Police reported the group was gone upon their arrival.
A report of a road rage incident at 8:50 p.m. Tuesday at 30 Keys Drive. A caller reported another driver threatened to damage her vehicle. Police reported there were no threats made.
A report of suspicious activity at 12:02 a.m. Wednesday at Pulaski Street Industrial Park at 58 Pulaski St. A caller reported two or three people were squatting inside one of the buildings. An officer reported there were no squatters.
Suspicious activity was reported at 1:41 p.m. Wednesday at 12 Nelson Road. A caller reported there was a man who was unfamiliar to the area. When the man was asked what he was doing, he reportedly said his friend waved at him, but he didn’t remember which house it was. Police reported the man was headed home for the day.
A report of a suspicious motor vehicle at 2:42 p.m. Wednesday at 2 Corporation Way. A caller reported an abandoned vehicle was in the parking lot for two weeks. An officer reported the vehicle was active and did not appear to be stolen.
Theft
A report of fraud at 11:08 a.m. Tuesday at 10 Loris Road. A caller reported their Eastern Bank account was hacked for $500.
SAUGUS
Accidents
Officer received reports at 8:57 p.m. Tuesday of a road rage incident-turned motor vehicle accident. Officers were dispatched to Walnut Street and reported minimal damage.
At 7:27 Tuesday, a woman called to report her vehicle had been hit while she was in Target on Broadway. Dispatched officers reported speaking with the party and taking down a report.
Complaints
Police received a call at 3:14 a.m. Wednesday from a woman who reported a male party was in the driveway of her home on Broadway. She was unable to provide a description. Officers checked the area and were unable to locate anyone acting suspiciously.
A 911 caller at 7:44 p.m. Tuesday reported a dispute over a payment for a pack of cigarettes. Officers were dispatched to Mobil Gas Station on Essex Street and reported the incident had been resolved.
An officer responded to a 6:59 call on Tuesday that reported a group of five individuals playing basketball near Oaklandvale Elementary School. The officer dispersed the gathering and advised the parties on the Governor’s directive.
