Complaints
A report of a man in the driveway with a camera at 3:09 p.m. Monday on Cheever Avenue. A caller reported she saw a man who was in her driveway taking pictures. When she asked what he was doing, the man reportedly told her he was a surveyor. Police reported the person had left.
A report of a disturbance at 3:13 p.m. Monday on Pleasant Street. A woman who was in the establishment was reportedly being belligerent. She was “not supposed to be there.”
A caller reported a blue Dodge truck with New Hampshire plates was doing donuts in the middle of the intersection at 5:07 p.m. Monday at Creesy Street and Lincoln Avenue. The truck reportedly left toward Elm Street. Police reported the possible vehicle was found unoccupied at Elm and Creesy.
A woman walked into the police station to report she was “run off the road by a truck and almost died” at 6:52 p.m. Monday at Atlantic Avenue and Preston Beach Road. She said the truck got within inches of her car and really “shook her up.”
NAHANT
Accidents
A caller reported a multiple-vehicle accident at Nahant Rotary at 9:11 a.m. Saturday. There were no apparent injuries.
Complaints
Police received a report at 12:29 p.m. Saturday of people playing volleyball at Nahant Beach. A dispatched officer reported there were only four people playing.
A caller at 11:10 a.m. Saturday reported a gathering of 12 to 15 people at Nahant Community Gardens on Castle Road.
SAUGUS
Accidents
A man walked into the station at 11:14 p.m. Monday to report his vehicle was struck by debris, breaking his passenger-side window while his vehicle was parked on Main Street near Saugus Center. There was no suspect seen and no known cause of the damage. The man was provided with the call number and advised to contact his insurance company.
A woman reported damage to her vehicle at 1:34 p.m. Monday while it was parked on Highland Avenue. The damage was reportedly caused by her neighbor starting an outside fire. A dispatched officer reported insurance information was exchanged.
Complaints
Police received a call at 4:02 p.m. Monday about an intoxicated male who refused to leave Jiffy Mart on Howard Street. A dispatched officer reported the man had been trespassed and left the premises.
Police received a call at 11:43 a.m. Monday from a party reporting two cars were parked in front of his house on Felton Street. He believed 94c activities were occurring. A dispatched officer reported it was a male and female talking. No issues.
Identity Fraud
Police received a walk-in report at 10:26 a.m. Monday from a man who reported he received a phone call from what he thought was his bank. The caller provided the man’s Social Security, full name, and address. They then asked for a pin number that was texted to his phone, which he provided. Soon after, $500 was transferred out of his account. The man contacted his bank, who froze his account.
Missing Property
A woman made a walk-in report at 12:30 p.m. Monday to say she lost her license somewhere in Saugus.
