Arrest
Anthony Terence Brooks, 35, of 103 Lewis St., Lynn, was arrested on warrants at 3:32 p.m. Saturday.
Complaints
A report of kids marking up the roadway at 1:01 p.m. Friday on Wallace Road. A caller reported there was a group of kids and a woman outside his home who were marking up the roadway with crayons. Police reported two young kids and their mother were playing with chalk in the roadway. The group later cleared out.
A report of a hockey gathering at 2:38 p.m. Friday on Winthrop Avenue. A caller reported a group of kids were congregating in front of her home. She said they were not practicing social distancing and their hockey puck went into her yard, which led to them trespassing. She said her video monitoring system revealed that her $42,000 car was damaged by their hockey puck as well. Police reported there was not a group in the area. A mother, father and their 5-year-old child were playing hockey, but the caller’s vehicle was not damaged and there were no social distancing issues.
A report of a neighborhood dispute at 3:20 p.m. Friday on Maverick Street. A caller reported his neighbor smashed into his car on purpose. Police reported the cars did not make contact and the incident was a dispute over parking on a public way.
Police received a call from a park commissioner that a group of kids were playing basketball in violation of COVID-19 restrictions at 6:06 p.m. Friday on West Shore Drive. He asked that police end the game. Police reported there was no one there upon their arrival.
A report of suspicious activity at 10:37 p.m. Friday at Pleasant and Washington streets. A caller reported a suspicious male was spending a lot of time at a car parked on the corner and then walked away toward Crosby’s. Police were unable to locate the man.
A report of two people stranded at 11:52 a.m. Saturday in Little Harbor. Police reported a boat was sent out to get them. The two people declined medical attention.
A woman reported she received a package from China, which included a message that a mask was inside at 12:28 p.m. Saturday on Shorewood Road. The woman said she did not order a mask. Police told the woman to properly dispose of the package.
A report of suspicious activity at 3:32 p.m. Saturday on Atlantic Avenue. A caller reported there was a man inside a white BMW who was trying to sell him drugs. The man had two warrants out for his arrest. Anthony Terence Brooks, 35, of Lynn, was arrested (see arrests).
A report of social distancing not being observed at 4:38 p.m. Saturday on Humphrey Street. A caller reported a soccer coach appeared to be running a clinic outside on the turf field behind the high school. Police spoke with the group.

An unknown person walked into the police station asking if he or she could fly a drone in the area at 10:03 a.m. Friday. The police chief informed the person that Logan Airport is not allowing that, as there have been restrictions put on the area.
A caller reported she got a strange call from a New Jersey number with a man saying “Hello, Grandma, Grandma” at 10:32 a.m. Friday.
A caller reported there were people at DCR Long Beach on the Causeway playing volleyball at 12:29 p.m. Saturday. Police reported there were only four people playing volleyball.
A report of suspicious activity at 6:37 p.m. Saturday at Tudor Wharf on Wharf Street. A caller reported the driver of a green vehicle moved cones and parked near the boats at the Wharf. Police reported the car was not there.

Suspicious activity was reported at 7:07 p.m. Friday at Kiley Memorial School at 21 Johnson St. A caller reported an active break-in through the back window of the vacant building. The suspects were reportedly two male juveniles. Police spoke with two women who were taking pictures of the incident.
A report of a traffic hazard at 9:18 p.m. Friday at Maddy’s Car Wash at 300 Andover St. A caller reported two motorcycles and two BMWs were racing around in the parking lot at high rates of speed. Police spoke with and dispersed the group.
A report of a neighborhood dispute at 11:54 a.m. Saturday at 286 Newbury St. A caller reported his neighbor was accusing him of taking rocks and razor blades.
A report of a disturbance at 2:33 p.m. Saturday at 48 Veterans Memorial Drive. An assault was reported. A male suspect reportedly fled in a red Toyota Camry toward Washington Street.

The suspect was described as a black man who was wearing a dark colored hoodie. The woman reported she found her wallet under her car, but there was a small amount of cash missing.
Peabody Police assisted Salem Police with looking for a home invasion suspect at 3:18 p.m. Sunday, The suspect’s vehicle was found in Harmony Grove Cemetery on Tremont Street.
