WINTHROP — There are six confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Winthrop.
Winthrop Town Manager Austin Faison and Public Health Director Meredith Hurley announced Wednesday they received notification from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health of two additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the town’s total up to six.
A press release from the town encouraged residents experiencing symptoms to contact the Emergency Operations Center, and a Top Hotline is available on the Winthrop Public Safety website.
