A report of an erratic operator at 10:23 a.m. Monday on Village Street. A caller reported an older model Prius operated by a younger man was tailgating him that morning. When the caller went to make a turn, he said the other car crossed the double yellow lines.
A caller reported a piece of luggage was left on the sidewalk at 5:21 p.m. Monday at Summer and Rockaway streets. Police reported it looked like it was left there for free collection. The suitcase was empty and removed from the sidewalk.
A caller reported there was someone in the middle of the road at Ocean Avenue and Pleasant Street “herding the turkey across the street” at 7:19 p.m. Monday. The caller said the woman had parked her car in the middle of the road to do so. Police reported the turkey was safely across the street and there were no cars in the middle of the road.
A report of a disturbance at 8:10 p.m. Monday on South Street. A caller reported her neighbor had been pounding on the walls and yelling for two days. She was concerned about the man’s welfare.

Regiani Silva, 37, of 24 Endicott St., was summoned for unlicensed operation of a vehicle on Washington Street on Monday at 12:12 p.m.
Animals
Police mailed a citation warning to a Ravenwood Road resident whose dog was the source of an improper waste disposal complaint on Monday at 10:02 a.m. Police mailed a citation to a Rainbow Circle resident on Monday at 10:41 a.m. regarding a leash law violation involving his dog.
Medical
Police assisted in arranging medical transport from Central Street to Beverly Hospital on Monday at 9:15 a.m.
SAUGUS
Accidents
A caller at 9:59 p.m. Monday reported a car had driven off the road near Essex Street and seemed stuck.
Police received a call at 9:17 a.m. Monday about a two-car accident with airbag deployment on Main Street. All parties involved declined ambulance services.
Complaints
Police received a call at 10:44 p.m. Monday from a party reporting noise from a nearby apartment. Officers were dispatched to the apartment complex on Vine Street and determined several children were enjoying their extended vacation. The children agreed to keep it down for the remainder of the evening.
A caller at 9:16 p.m. Monday reported a loud bass sound that he couldn’t locate the source of. Officers were dispatched to the 70-74 Essex St. area and spoke with homeowners who agreed to stop the karaoke for the evening.
Theft
A worker from CVS on Broadway called at 10:47 p.m. Monday to report an unruly customer who may have been shoplifting. Officers were dispatched for more information.
Loss Prevention at Walmart on Broadway called the station at 1:56 p.m. Monday to report a male shoplifter. Officers were dispatched and the two male parties involved were entered into the trespass file.
Target Loss Prevention reported detaining a male shoplifter at 12:06 p.m. Monday. Officers were dispatched for a report.
Walmart Loss Prevention reported detaining a female shoplifter at 11:02 a.m. Monday. Officers were dispatched. The involved party will be summoned.
