Ellen Frankel, LCSW, of Marblehead, has been named All Care Hospice’s new bereavement coordinator. Frankel has been a social worker for more than 30 years and has worked in the hospice sector for more than a decade. She has created and implemented many new programs, including Writing from the Heart of Grief support groups, and the hospice Shabbat bag program. She worked as a bereavement counselor at a local hospice before joining All Care.
She said she would “like to continue working as a bereavement coordinator and creating space for people to process their losses and navigate their grief. It is a privilege to walk some of the way with people on their journeys.”
In addition to being an experienced social worker, Ellen is a frequent speaker at conferences, has blogged for the Huffington Post and is the published author of several books, which subjects include eating disorders, spirituality and grief, ands the novel, Syd Arthur.
