Complaints
A caller wanted police to be aware that she had noticed two objects “flying high in the sky” at 6:38 p.m. Monday.
NAHANT
Accidents
A party walked into the station at 9:51 p.m. Thursday to report her motor vehicle had been struck while parked outside a residence on Wilson Road. Police took down a report.
Animal Control
A calling party at 1:02 a.m. Saturday reported coyotes fighting or mating on Colby Way. An officer checked the area and reported no unusual activity.
Complaints
Police received a walk-in complaint at 11:47 a.m. Sunday from a party reporting an attached vehicle traveling at a high speed entering the town. Dispatched units were unable to locate the vehicle.
A caller at 10 a.m. on Sunday reported a construction crew on Summer Street was being loud. Dispatched officers reported the area was quiet when they arrived.
Police received a call at 8:55 p.m. Saturday that reported a dark-colored BMW with a group of juveniles driving erratically on Nahant Road and Castle Road. No other description was observed and units were advised.
SAUGUS
Arrest
Fritz Durosca, 20, of Dorchester, was arrested Monday under charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
Complaints
A caller at 5:07 p.m. reported a male drinking alcohol while behind the wheel of a motor vehicle near Dunkin Donuts on Broadway. Dispatched officers reported there appeared to be no impairment at that time.
Loss Prevention at Kohl’s on Broadway called at 2:30 p.m. on Monday to report they had attempted to stop two female shoplifters who reportedly stole approximately $200 in merchandise and were driving away.
Police received a report at 3:56 p.m. Monday of two white males yelling at each other and causing a disturbance. Police spoke with the men and reported they were digging for gold.
Thefts
Police received a walk-in report at 12:51 p.m. Monday from a woman who reported her car was broken into while parked in front of her house on Dustin Street. The woman provided officers with video of the incident.
