Complaints
A caller reported she smelled an inside odor of something burning at 12:24 p.m. Sunday on Bradlee Road. The caller said there was not any smoke or fire, but wanted the fire department to investigate the odor. Police reported nothing was found.
A resident reported an outside odor of gas in the area at 6:15 a.m. Monday on Elm Street. Police reported the odor was confirmed and National Grid responded.

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 5:28 p.m. Friday at Nahant Rotary on the Causeway.
Complaints
A coyote sighting near the Colby Way/Bass Point area was reported at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. A caller reported his neighbor saw the coyote the night before while he was walking his dog.
A report of suspicious activity at 8:19 p.m. Wednesday at Nahant Road and Little Nahant Road. A person was reportedly slumped over a bench. An officer reported locating the man, who was playing Angry Birds on his phone.
A report of suspicious activity at 2:35 a.m. Friday at Knights of Columbus on Relay Yard. An officer reported checking on a vehicle in the area. The people checked out and were sent away.
A caller reported two incidents at the bank where bank employees asked for identification in order to complete their business at 7:51 a.m. Saturday on Lennox Road. The caller said the bank employees “know” him/her and felt they were harassing him/her because of their transgender status. Police told the caller the bank was simply covering themselves by asking for identification after a name change.

Gia M. Graciale, 37, of 179 Howard St., Apt. 2, Dorchester, was arrested on a warrant at 12:10 p.m. Saturday.
Shane M. Ryan, 41, of 16 East Main St., Norton, was arrested and charged with shoplifting by concealing merchandise and unlawful possession of a theft detection device deactivator or remover at 6:12 p.m. Saturday.

A man walked into the station to report his uncle’s brother had shaved his 1-year-old son’s head without his permission at 10:27 a.m. Friday at 14 Church St. The man was told to contact his pediatrician.
A report of a disturbance at 12:35 a.m. Saturday at 27 Hamilton St. A woman walked into the station to report she had recently been involved in a car accident and the other person involved has been texting her constantly and asking for money. Both people were told to contact their insurance companies.
A report of a suspicious motor vehicle at 12:53 a.m. Saturday at 2 Randell Road. A caller reported a suspicious Jeep Grand Cherokee had been parked out front for about 20 minutes. Police reported the driver lived at the residence.
A suspicious motor vehicle was reported at 9:12 a.m. Saturday at East Boston Savings Bank at 320 Central St. Police reported the bank’s alarm company had notified them about a suspicious man who was wearing a hoodie and inside a parked car. The driver reportedly appeared to be hiding his identity. Police reported the car was gone before they arrived.
A report of suspicious activity at 1:20 p.m. Saturday at the lower pond at Sweetwater and Griswold streets. A caller reported kids were on the ice. Police reported a man was ice fishing on about three inches of ice. There was no apparent hazard.
A report of suspicious activity at 4:49 a.m. Sunday at 92 Fairmount Ave. A caller reported three men were standing by her front door. Police reported there was nothing showing when they searched the area.
Theft
A report of identity fraud at 8:12 a.m. Saturday at 28 Harwich St. A man walked into the station to report someone had opened a Macy’s credit card in his name.
A report of a larceny at 5:44 p.m. Saturday at Men’s Wearhouse at 444 Broadway. A caller reported an iPad went missing from the store.
A report of shoplifting at 6:12 p.m. Saturday at Kohl’s at 333 Broadway. A caller reported two people were actively shoplifting. One of the people reportedly had a knife. Shane M. Ryan, 41, of Norton, was arrested (see arrests).
