Paul Pacheco, 46, of 367 Maple St., was arrested and charged with five counts of armed and masked robbery and attempting to commit a crime on Thursday at 9:22 p.m.
Dean McDonough of 61 Shepard St. was arrested on a warrant charges of shoplifting, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and failing to stop and yield on Friday at 9 p.m.
Edilzar Lopez-Chavez, 20, of 22 Nichols St., was arrested and charged with use of a motor vehicle without authority and failing to yield on Thursday at 11:23 p.m.
Liz Garcia, 44, of 34 Hanover St., was arrested and charged with shoplifting, Class B drug possession, receiving stolen property and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license on Thursday at 7:56 p.m.
Assault
Police received a report of an assault on Wilfred Street on Friday at 11:13 p.m.
Theft
Police received a report of a stolen motor vehicle on Whittier Street on Friday at 10:53 a.m.
Vandalism
Police received a report of motor vehicle vandalism on Friday at Astor and Summer streets at 7:40 p.m.
PEABODY
Arrest
Roger Patrick Murphy, 47, of 1 Oak St., Salem was arrested at the 7-11 on Main Street Thursday at 4:57 a.m. and charged with operating under the influence of liquor, third offense.
Alarm
A report of an alarm at Sir Charles Limousine, Inc. on Lake Street Friday at 1:32 p.m. Officer checked the exterior of the building and determined it appears to be secure.
Animal control
A Summit Terrace caller reported her cat, Sophie, was missing Friday at 11:40 a.m. Police left a voicemail requesting additional information.
A caller from Wilmington reported her cat, Mick, was missing Friday at 11:33 a.m. and might be roaming as a stray in Peabody. Party was advised that she will be contacted if the cat comes into animal control custody. The woman advised the cat is microchipped.
Complaints
A caller on Nelson Road reported Friday at 10:59 a.m. that his son called him and told him there were two unknown males at the door who left and went to a neighbor’s house. The officer stated the men were working on Nelson Road and had gone to the wrong house.
A Holten Road resident reported an unknown male on his property who was also walking into several other yards on Holten Road and Shaws Lane Thursday at 1:24 p.m. The person could not be located.
An elderly Sycamore Circle resident reported a suspicious male came to her house claiming he had an appointment to clean her furnace Thursday at 12:19 p.m. The man became irritated when the caller did not let him in the house. After speaking with the caller, police determined the man had the wrong address.
A report of four juveniles on bicycles riding in the roadway on Washington Street at Lynnfield St. Wednesday at 4:49 p.m.
A caller reported a female juvenile causing a disturbance at Metro Bowl on Foster St. Wednesday at 3:06 p.m. The juvenile, who has been causing disturbances in the past and has a trespass order, was gone on arrival.
Medical aid
A caller reported a woman with high potassium levels at Peabody Housing Authority on Central Street Friday at 3:42 p.m. The woman was transported to Salem Hospital
Summons
Azquenaz Rocha of 62 Central St. and Daiane Machado of 62 Central St. will be summoned for operating a motor vehicle without a license following an accident on Lowell Street Thursday at 2:31 p.m.
Theft
A report of a stolen Accura MDX from the parking lot of Dunkin Donuts on Central St. Wednesday at 5:41 p.m. The vehicle had been left running in the lot.
SAUGUS
Arrest
Cesar Amaya-Fuentes, 33, of Chelsea. Arrested on charges of OUI and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
Thefts
A worker from Mobile Gas Station on Broadway called at 5:23 a.m. Friday to report that a customer had stolen $52 worth of gas from the station. An officer was dispatched for a report.
Complaints
Police received several calls around 1:50 a.m. Friday from parties at the Wood Spring Suites on Broadway reporting that occupants in one of the rooms were playing loud music. The dispatched officer reported that no music was playing when he arrived.
A caller at 2:39 p.m. Thursday reported illegal dumping at the intersection of Second Street and School Street.
Police received several 911 calls at 11:35 p.m. Thursday reporting an erratic motor vehicle operator in the area of Kelly’s Roast Beef. Responding officers placed the motor vehicle operator under arrest for operating with intoxication and operating without a license.
Police received multiple reports around 6:41 p.m. Thursday of several shopping carts in the roadway on Broadway. The Department of Public Works was notified.
