Arrest
Judson Percy, 20, of 10 Dodge Road, was arrested and charged with OUI liquor, possession of liquor by a person under 21, speeding, possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, possession/use of a false/stolen RMV signature, intimidation of a witness/juror/police/court official, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and Class D drug possession with intent to distribute at 10:47 p.m. Friday.
Accidents
A truck reportedly struck a pole at 12:39 a.m. Saturday on Pleasant Street. The truck had the word “Turner Brothers” on the sides and reportedly fled the scene following the crash. The owner of the company was contacted, who tracked down the driver and told him to relay what happened to police.
Complaints
A woman walked into the police station at 2:47 p.m. Friday to report seeing some strange aircraft on Orne Street the week before. She said she was coming home from Salem when she saw about 10 aircraft flying very slowly as if they were hovering. She said the small planes were at about the altitude of a helicopter and had lights on the wings and body. Police said Beverly Airport Tower reported they don’t keep radar data and nothing stood out to them. In addition, Marblehead is outside their span of control.
A caller reported there was a kid lying face down on the white tarps of the field at 4:36 p.m. Friday on Wyman Road and she was concerned that he was not OK. Police reported there was a group of five kids playing on the corner of the field.
A report of a neighbor dispute at 2:19 p.m. Saturday on Hawkes Street. A caller reported she was having a problem with her neighbor, who had requested some documents. The caller told the resident of the condo association she had to charge a fee for the documents and was later frightened when the resident confronted her.
