A report of erratic operation at 4:31 p.m. Sunday on Lafayette Street. A caller reported she was followed by a man who “flashed his high beams, rode the bumper and was honking the horn.” The caller said she thought his behavior was due to her driving over the speed limit. Police reported the man had recently moved to town from New York and denied the events ever happened.

A report of property damage at 8:08 a.m. Saturday at 18 Central St. A caller reported he went outside and found his mailbox destroyed with a Nissan bumper and plate on the ground. Police spoke with the owner of the suspect vehicle, who said her son was driving and would be told to fix the damage.
A report of a disturbance at 9:32 a.m. Saturday at 28 Iron Works Way. A caller reported several youths on motorized scooters and go-karts were causing a disturbance in the neighborhood.
A report of suspicious activity at 11:30 a.m. Saturday on Summer Street. A mailman reported a car was driving around with its trunk open and a priority package sticking out. Police reported the woman was lost in the area.
