Adam Zamansky’s game-winning basket with 3.4 seconds remaining drove the Marblehead boys basketball team to a 43-41 win over Masconomet Monday.
Zamanasky finished with a double-double (10 points, 10 rebounds). Devin Romain added nine points and grabbed nine rebounds.
Marblehead (3-3) hosts Beverly Friday (7).

Winthrop 62, Ipswich 54
Engjell Ramadani (22 points) and Cam Conway (20 points) were Winthrop’s top performers. Winthrop (2-1) visits Saugus Friday (7).
Fenwick 67, Danvers 59
Max Grenert led Fenwick with 18 points. Alex Gonzalez and Jason Romans each scored 17 points. The Crusaders (3-1) host Spellman Friday (6:30).
Medford 50, Saugus 40
Saugus trailed 35-30 heading into the fourth quarter before Medford pulled away. Christian Correia (14 points), Nick Israelson (13) and Myles Manalaysay (nine) were Saugus’ top scorers.
The Sachems (1-5) host Winthrop Friday (7).
Wakefield 83, Swampscott 79 (F/3OT)
Andrew Augustin brought his A-game with 40 points and five rebounds but Swampscott fell just short and dropped to 1-4. Cam O’Brien poured in 18 points with four steals. Anthony Rakauskas scored 10 points and grabbed eight rebounds.
Swampscott hopes to bounce back with a win Friday (7) at Peabody.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
Fenwick 35, Beverly 24
Annie Murphy’s 23 points and 14 rebounds powered Fenwick to a win in the championship game of the Crusaders’ Christmas Tournament. Veronica Tache’ added four points, four assists and three steals.
Fenwick (3-1) travels to Spellman Friday (6:30).
Lynnfield 54, Melrose 25
The Pioneers grabbed their first win of the season in a non-conference tilt. Top scorers were Grace Klonsky (14 points), Kate MacDonald (12) and Tori Morelli (eight). Lynnfield (1-2) hosts Newburyport Friday (6:30).
Everett 50, Saugus 36
Taylor Bogdanski scored a career-high 15 points. Fallon Millerick scored seven points. Kiley Ronan and Molly Granara played solid defense.

Lily Pulsifer led Winthrop with 20 points. Maddie Sitglets and Maura Dorr scored seven points each. Winthrop hosts Saugus Friday (6:30).

Make that three wins in a row for St. Mary’s (3-0-1). Zoe Solomons and Maggie Pierce netted two goals each. Kelly Lovett netted one goal.

Freshman Meredith Yuhusz qualified for the Division 2 North sectionals and Division 2 states in the 500 freestyle (5:40.46).
