A caller reported someone may be in the home at 10:28 p.m. Friday on Walnut Street. A family reported their iPad camera was picking up rap music and footsteps. Police reported the door was open, but there was no one inside the house and there was not any music playing.
A report of suspicious activity at 10:47 p.m. Friday on Marion Road Extension. A caller reported someone tried to break into his car. He said the car alarm went off twice and there were fresh footprints in the snow. Police responded.
Overdose
A report of an overdose at 10 a.m. Friday on Washington Street. Narcan was administered and the person was taken to Salem Hospital.
Theft
A report of a larceny/forgery/fraud at 11:41 a.m. Saturday on Willow Road.
Vandalism
A report of vandalism at 4:30 p.m. Friday on Broughton Road. A caller reported his bedroom door was kicked in and damaged.
NAHANT
Complaints
A woman reported at 1:15 p.m. Thursday that she had paid a contractor $8,550 over the summer to complete work in her house, but nothing had been done. The woman has attempted to get her money back from the contractor, but has not been successful. She wanted to file a complaint.
A caller reported his 10-year-old yellow Labrador retriever was missing at 2:54 p.m. Friday on Nahant Road. The caller found the dog swimming in the ocean at Canoe Beach.
