Arrests
Misael Echevarria, 39, of 98 Green St., was arrested on a warrant charge of breaking and entering daytime for felony on Friday at 12:02 a.m.
Moses Ehiabhi, 31, of 10 Safford Road, was arrested and charged with Class B drug trafficking, failure to stop for police, number plate violation and drug possession to distribute on Thursday at 10:18 p.m.
Elizabeth Willette of 36 Sagamore St. was arrested on warrant charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, motor vehicle use without authority and leaving the scene of property damage on Thursday at 9:41 p.m.
Dennis DiCato, 37, of 98 Central St., Peabody, was arrested and charged with Class A and B drug possession on Friday at 3:16 p.m.
Francisco Lopez, 53, was arrested and charged with Class A and B drug distribution on Friday at 3:13 p.m.
Theft
Police received a report of a larceny at 780 Lynnway on Friday at 9:41 a.m.; a report of a shoplifter at 210 Lewis St. on Thursday at 10:46 a.m. and a motor vehicle theft reported on South Street on Thursday at 7:50 p.m.
Accidents
Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident at New Ocean and Ocean streets on Friday at 8:43 a.m.; an accident at West Colony Road and Western Avenue on Thursday at 7:44 p.m.; an accident at Maple Street and Western Avenue on Thursday at 7:20 p.m. and an accident with personal injury at 195 Union St. on Thursday at 5:38 p.m.
Overdoses
Police responded to a report of a drug overdose on Rogers Avenue on Thursday at 6:29 p.m. and an overdose reported on Tucker Street on Thursday at 5:01 p.m.
Complaint
Police responded to a report of an intoxicated person at Mall and North Common streets on Thursday at 6:29 p.m.
NAHANT
Thefts
Police received a call at 4:49 p.m. Thursday from a resident on Christopher Dr. who stated he wanted to report a stolen FedEx package. An officer was dispatched for more information.
Suspicious Activity
An unknown party walked in to the station at 6:46 p.m. Monday to report he had just been followed by a black BMW. He said the vehicle had followed him from the Lynnway into town and reported that the vehicle was operating erratically and beeping at him before turning off around the Nahant Rd. area. Officers checked the area but could identify the operator.
Motor Vehicle Incidents
A woman called at 6:36 Monday to report a black vehicle almost ran her off the road at the rotary. She stated that the vehicle then went 85 miles per hour on the Causeway inbound. Before police could gather any more information, the woman went on to say that vehicles were speeding all over Little Nahant Rd. and said there should be flashing lights. Officers told the woman they do they best they can.
SAUGUS
Arrests
Tina Hutchins, 48, of Saugus, was arrested after being issued a default warrant.
William Hutchins, 24, of Saugus, was arrested after being issued a straight warrant.
Motor Vehicle Incidents
Police received a call at 10:05 p.m. Thursday from a man stating he ran over a traffic cone and it was stuck under his vehicle. Police were dispatched to Main St. and removed the cone from his vehicle.
The station received a call at 2:58 p.m. Thursday for a non-fatal motor vehicle accident with injuries. Officers were dispatched to the scene at Hamilton St.
Suspicious Activity
A mall cop reported at 5:49 p.m. Thursday that he received a call from Macy’s loss prevention at the Square One mall. He said they reported that a group known for shoplifting was in the store. Officers were dispatched and reported that the suspects had left the establishment.
Police received a call at 5:08 p.m. Thursday from a woman who reported a suspicious package was delivered to the front lobby of Laurel Towers on Rice St. She said the package was making the residents nervous and brought it to the station to be sent back to UPS.
A caller at 11:41 a.m. Thursday reported an ongoing issue with illegal dumping next to Friendly’s on Broadway and said he was able to get a suspected license plate. An officer was dispatched for a report.
Thefts
A man walked into the station at 1:06 p.m. Thursday to report his identity and Bank of America credit card information had been stolen and used to make $10,757.81 in charges.
A woman reported at 8:29 a.m. Thursday that license plates were stolen from her car, which was parked in her driveway on Palmer Ave. The plates have been entered into CJIS.
Wellness Checks
Police received a call at 4:18 p.m. Thursday from a woman who was concerned about the whereabouts of her daughter. Police could also hear a man in the background speaking aggressively toward the woman before the call was terminated. Officers were dispatched to Old County Rd. and spoke with both parties. They reported all appeared fine at the residence and a message was left for the daughter to call the station.
