Accidents
A report of a motor vehicle hit and run crash at 4 p.m. Monday on Atlantic Avenue.

Complaints
A caller reported he thought he hit another car’s mirror when he tried to avoid trash on his way to an appointment at 9:01 a.m. Monday on Tedesco Street. He said he did not stop to check because he “was going to a very important appointment.” Police checked the other car and reported there was no damage.
A caller reported at 11:50 a.m. Monday that he had some incidents with the same bicyclist in the past week. The bicyclist reportedly became aggressive toward her and drivers in other cars. In one incident, she said the bicyclist drove into oncoming traffic and began to follow his car and looked like he was “coming right for the car.” The caller said the cyclist’s behavior was similar in a second incident.
SAUGUS
Motor Vehicle Incidents
Police received a report at 9:03 a.m. Tuesday about a two-car accident on the Salem Turnpike. One of the vehicles was not drivable. Officers responded to the scene but found nothing. One of the parties involved called back and said both parties had exchanged papers and left.
A call came in at 6:24 a.m. Tuesday reporting a motor vehicle accident with injuries near the Home Depot Building Supply. Ambulance one reported transporting two to Melrose Wakefield Hospital, and ambulance two reported transporting three to the same hospital. Injuries appear to be non life-threatening.
A caller at 10:33 Monday reported that she was stuck in the middle of the roadway on Grandview Avenue due to dangerous road conditions. An officer and Department of Public Works vehicle responded to assist.
Police received a call at 5:56 p.m. from a man reporting he had been in a motor vehicle crash with an MBTA bus on Central Street. Transit police responded and reported minor damage and no injuries. Involved vehicles were removed from the roadway.
The station received a call at 1:37 p.m. Monday. Interpreter services were used to determine there was a motor vehicle accident at Walnut Place on Broadway. Two ambulances were called and one reported transporting one party to Salem Hospital.
Break-Ins
A woman walked into the Saugus police station at 9:55 a.m. Monday to report her car had been broken into sometime around Nov. 18. Two bank checks were taken and have since been fraudulently cashed.
Police received a call at 2:27 a.m. Monday from a caller reporting his ex-girlfriend had attempted to break into his house and took off in a black Jeep. Officers were dispatched and the offending party was sent on her way.
At 12:52 a.m. Monday, a woman called to report she’d observed a young male party in dark clothing attempting to enter her vehicle parked on Main Street. The party was unsuccessful and ran off behind the dry cleaners located at 24 Main St. when confronted by the caller’s daughter. Officers responded but found nothing.
Complaints
At 3:25 a.m. Tuesday, a caller reported a suspicious car, possibly a grey SUV, parked in the driveway of their apartment complex on McIntyre Road. The dispatched officer reported that the vehicle was picking up another resident in the complex.
A caller reported loud music coming from the apartment above her at 2:46 a.m. on Tuesday. An officer was dispatched to Central Street and reported speaking with the homeowner, who agreed to keep it down for the night.
Police received a call at 3:14 p.m. Monday from a woman concerned that someone might be trying to break into her home. Officers responded to the home on Dighton Street and determined a rear door was slightly open and being blown by the wind.
