LYNN — “The Nutcracker,” performed by dancers of the Greater Salem Ballet Company, including A Performing Arts Academy students, will take place in the beautifully restored Lynn Memorial Auditorium Dec. 7 at noon and 4 p.m.
Dance students from Lynn, Marblehead, Swampscott and other North Shore communities will take the stage. The lead role of Clara is performed by Emma Losolfo of Salem. Alan Alberto and Eugenia Zinovieva, both soloists of The Festival Ballet of Providence, return as the Cavalier and the Sugar Plum Fairy.
“The Nutcracker” has become a tradition for many families to usher in the festive season. The magic of the holidays and Clara’s enchanted journey are told in music and dance with beautiful costumes and amazing stage settings.
