A caller reported a tow hitch in the middle of Pleasant and Smith streets at 3:50 p.m. on Monday. Responding officers were unable to locate it.
A caller reported a suspicious phone call he received at 4:35 p.m. on Monday where the caller was looking for a rabbi and then asked if there was any work that needed to be done as he just got out of jail.
A caller reported at 5:04 p.m. on Monday that she was the victim of a possible scam. She stated she had a company called One Call/One Haul to remove boxes that were stored in her backyard a while back. She stated someone called her as a representative and told her they lost her check, needed her to send a new one and asked her where she lived. She stated she thought it was weird that the person on the phone was asking where she lived considering they picked up boxes from her house.

A report of a breaking and entering at 7:21 p.m. Monday at 144 Shore Drive. A caller reported the chain lock on the spare door was broken off, but nothing was missing from the residence. The intruder was reportedly possibly startled by the caller’s elderly mother in the bedroom.

A report of identity fraud at 4:08 p.m. Sunday at 6 Allens Lane. A caller reported he lost his wallet and his identity was stolen.
A caller from England was reportedly concerned at 4:32 p.m. Sunday about a 19-year-old who he believed, through his email communication, had been abducted by an unknown man who had been presenting her as his wife. The caller said both were residing on Brooksby Village Way in Danvers. Danvers Police were notified.
A report of a disturbance at 5:06 p.m. Sunday at 10 Park St. A caller reportedly ran over a kid’s bike and wanted to speak with an officer. Police reported the matter was resolved.
A report of suspicious activity at 7:25 p.m. Sunday at 6 Sheffield Drive. A caller reported two men were going door-to-door and stating they are missionaries.
A well-being check was performed on an elderly resident at 8:07 p.m. Sunday at Bill Share Design at 13 Princeton St. because a neighbor was concerned the woman’s lights were flickering on and off. An officer observed the exterior driveway light was turning on and off, but reported the resident was fine and had just had the light installed. The setting needed to be adjusted.
A report of a suspicious motor vehicle at 9:11 p.m. Sunday at Barnes and Noble at 210B Andover St. Police checked on an unoccupied car that was running by the dumpster. The driver was reportedly rummaging in the dumpster and was sent on his way.
A suspicious motor vehicle was reported at 36 Oak St. Police checked on a running vehicle with a person inside behind the residence. Police reported the person was going inside for the night.
