LYNN

Arrests 

Angel Acosta, 18, of 36 Brookvale St., was arrested and charged with assault and battery, intimidation of a witness/juror/police/court official and kidnapping at 10:20 a.m. Tuesday. 

Yusuf Ali, 54, of 242 Union St., was arrested and charged with operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license, unregistered motor vehicle, uninsured motor vehicle/trailer and number plate violation to conceal ID at 7:11 p.m. Monday. 

Cricket Brown was arrested on a warrant charge of armed robbery at 2:39 p.m. Tuesday. 

Pamela Cote, 37, of 21 Merrill Ave., was arrested and charged with shoplifting by asportation at 7:03 p.m. Monday. 

Katie Dyer-Garcia, 35, of 4 Lincoln St., was arrested and charged with sexual conduct for a fee at 6:18 a.m. Tuesday. 

Natacha Mora, 32, of 95 Pleasant St., was arrested and charged with sexual conduct for a fee at 4:30 a.m. Tuesday. 

Aaron Mwankuga, of 78 Central Ave., was arrested on a warrant charge of larceny from building at 11:48 a.m. Monday.

Complaints

A walk-in reported identity theft at 8:49 a.m. on Monday.

A walk-in reported at 2:28 p.m. on Monday that his vehicle broke down on Saturday and Mazda arranged for a tow. He stated the vehicle was towed by a company from Revere and they were supposed to bring it to a service center in Peabody but it was either stolen or delivered to the wrong place.

A caller reported at 3:15 p.m. on Monday that there was mud in the middle of Lincoln Avenue and it may cause a traffic issue.

A caller reported a tow hitch in the middle of Pleasant and Smith streets at 3:50 p.m. on Monday. Responding officers were unable to locate it.

A caller reported a suspicious phone call he received at 4:35 p.m. on Monday where the caller was looking for a rabbi and then asked if there was any work that needed to be done as he just got out of jail.

A caller reported at 5:04 p.m. on Monday that she was the victim of a possible scam. She stated she had a company called One Call/One Haul to remove boxes that were stored in her backyard a while back. She stated someone called her as a representative and told her they lost her check, needed her to send a new one and asked her where she lived. She stated she thought it was weird that the person on the phone was asking where she lived considering they picked up boxes from her house.

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 3:56 p.m. Sunday at 10 Barry St. A car was reportedly struck by a bicyclist who fled the area. The bicycle left on scene was seized by police; at 8:45 p.m. Sunday at 9R Sylvan St. 

A report of a motor vehicle hit and run crash at 4:24 p.m. Sunday at 96 Washington St. and 2 Clement Ave. 

A motor vehicle crash was reported at 11:22 a.m. Monday at 5 Aborn St. and 56 Washington St.; at 5:55 p.m. Monday at 596 Lowell St. and 2 Johnson St.; at 7:50 a.m. Tuesday at Colonial Manor at 39 Andover St.; at 8:03 a.m. Tuesday at 10 Margin St. and 68 Driscoll St.; at 10:23 a.m. Tuesday at Holiday Inn at 1 Newbury St.; at 2:47 p.m. Tuesday at 70 Endicott St. and 52 Warren St. 

Breaking and Entering 

A report of a breaking and entering at 7:21 p.m. Monday at 144 Shore Drive. A caller reported the chain lock on the spare door was broken off, but nothing was missing from the residence. The intruder was reportedly possibly startled by the caller’s elderly mother in the bedroom. 

Complaints 

A report of identity fraud at 4:08 p.m. Sunday at 6 Allens Lane. A caller reported he lost his wallet and his identity was stolen. 

A caller from England was reportedly concerned at 4:32 p.m. Sunday about a 19-year-old who he believed, through his email communication, had been abducted by an unknown man who had been presenting her as his wife. The caller said both were residing on Brooksby Village Way in Danvers. Danvers Police were notified. 

A report of a disturbance at 5:06 p.m. Sunday at 10 Park St. A caller reportedly ran over a kid’s bike and wanted to speak with an officer. Police reported the matter was resolved. 

A report of suspicious activity at 7:25 p.m. Sunday at 6 Sheffield Drive. A caller reported two men were going door-to-door and stating they are missionaries. 

A well-being check was performed on an elderly resident at 8:07 p.m. Sunday at Bill Share Design at 13 Princeton St. because a neighbor was concerned the woman’s lights were flickering on and off. An officer observed the exterior driveway light was turning on and off, but reported the resident was fine and had just had the light installed. The setting needed to be adjusted. 

A report of a suspicious motor vehicle at 9:11 p.m. Sunday at Barnes and Noble at 210B Andover St. Police checked on an unoccupied car that was running by the dumpster. The driver was reportedly rummaging in the dumpster and was sent on his way. 

A suspicious motor vehicle was reported at 36 Oak St. Police checked on a running vehicle with a person inside behind the residence. Police reported the person was going inside for the night. 

Suspicious activity was reported at 1:18 p.m. Monday at 55 Newcastle Road. A caller reported someone was offering paving. 

A report of a suspicious motor vehicle at 6:15 p.m. Monday at A & A Industries at 320 Jubilee Drive. An employee reported people in a minivan were possibly involved in lewd behavior.

A disturbance was reported at 5:46 a.m. Tuesday at 234 Washington St. A caller reported the people near the door closer to Wheeler Street were yelling and making a lot of noise. Police reported a woman was yelling at the dog to go outside. 

Suspicious activity was reported at 2:06 p.m. Tuesday at 24 Loris Road. A caller reported a man came to her door and when nobody answered, he sat in his car for about 10 minutes before leaving the area. 

Fire 

A report of a brush fire at 1:25 p.m. Monday at Lebanon Cemetery on Route 128 North.

Theft 

A report of a larceny at 5:20 p.m. Sunday at Holiday Inn at 1 Newbury St. A caller reported a credit card was stolen and $600 was charged to it. 

A report of a stolen motor vehicle at 5:57 p.m. Monday at Capitol Constable Service at 80 Foster St.  

Vandalism

A report of vandalism at 11:04 a.m. Monday at Gallo Nero at 89 Main St. A broken front window was reported. 

SAUGUS 

Breaking and Entering 

A report of a motor vehicle breaking and entering at 6:46 a.m. Tuesday at 2332 Founders Way. 

Complaints 

A report of a disturbance at 11:44 a.m. Monday at Home Depot at 564 Broadway. An officer was requested for an irate man. Peace was restored. 

A report of property damage at 3:35 p.m. Monday at 146 Main St. A caller reported damage to his fence. 

Vandalism 

A report of vandalism at 6:41 a.m. Monday at 2427 Founders Way. A caller reported a man destroyed her brother’s vehicle with a knife. No description was given for the man, but he was seen leaving in a tan minivan.
