A caller reported at 9:37 a.m. on Thursday that a tree stump near her Gallison Avenue home is protruding into the roadway. She stated a car hit the stump the night before. She stated she wants the stump removed but understands the tree department has a lot of work from the recent windstorm.
A caller reported a white van was parked on Pleasant Street in a bad spot at 2:09 p.m. on Thursday. She stated it is tagged but it needs to be moved.
A caller reported at 9:43 p.m. on Thursday that she was trick or treating and found a white van with the doors open and no one around on Broughton Road. Responding officers reported the vehicle was gone on arrival.
A caller reported a suspicious motor vehicle was making loops around Tidewinds Terrace and stopping it front of various houses at 10:04 p.m. on Thursday. Responding officers found the motor vehicle parked and unoccupied.
A caller on Washington Street reported at 10:22 p.m. on Thursday that a neighbor left an unmanned tiki torch burning in the backyard and he didn’t want his house to burn down. Responding officers reported the “torch has been snuffed.”
A caller reported at 5:47 a.m. on Friday that a tree limb was hanging car level near Jersey Street and Shepard Street. Responding officers removed the limb.
