Willis Taveras, 29, was arrested and charged with two counts of threat to commit a crime, shoplifting by concealing merchandise and shoplifting by asportation at 4:04 a.m. Tuesday.

Officer wanted at MarketStreet on Monday at 1:07 p.m. on a report that a 22-year-old man, wearing all black, a sleeve tattoo with alcohol and fentanyl tried to hurt himself and jumped out of his vehicle. Wakefield Police Department reports they found him in their town.
Wires down reported at 5 Willowdale Drive on Monday at 4:13 p.m. Officer located wires and moved them off the street and contacted Comcast.
Malden Police Department reporting a missing person was getting cell phone ping near 449 Summer and 11 Walnut streets on Tuesday at 4:07 a.m. Officers checked the surrounding area and all streets and were not able to locate anyone.
Suspicious motor vehicle reported on Pond View Lane on Monday at 10:06 p.m. Officer reports the vehicle checked out OK.
Medical Aid
A 911 call was received from Sunrise Assisted Living at 55 Salem St. for a 96-year-old woman suffering shortness of breath on Monday at 7:24 a.m. Patient taken to Melrose/Wakefield Hospital.
Caller from 951 Main St. reports a fall with hip pain on Monday at 2:28 p.m. Patient was taken to the hospital.

NAHANT
Complaints
A report of a water incident at 12:13 p.m. Thursday at Tudor Wharf on Wharf Street. A caller reported a boat that appeared to be broken down just off the Wharf, with a man yelling for help. An officer reported seeing a boater in distress but later reported the vessel appeared to be anchored and there did not appear to be life-threatening circumstances.
Two men walked into the police station at 7:06 p.m. Thursday to report an incident that occurred on the Causeway. One man reported he was on the Nahant Rotary when the other man almost hit his car. He said the other man allegedly became irate and followed him very closely all the way into town. Police reported that both men were calmed down and the matter was resolved.
A report of suspicious activity at 5:57 p.m. Tuesday at Marginal Road and Winter Street. A caller reported there was someone in the water. He said the person didn’t appear to be in distress, but it did not make sense that he was out there. Police reported the person was surfing with a wet suit.
Fire
A report of an auto fire at 7:02 p.m. Saturday at DCR Long Beach Lot on the Causeway. A car was reportedly overheating or on fire. Police responded and reported no cars were on fire or overheating in the area.
PEABODY
Arrest
Phillip Kyle, 19, of 10 First St., Apt. S510, Salem, was arrested for shoplifting at Macy’s Men’s & Furniture Store at 210 Andover St. on Sunday at 4:35 p.m.
Summons
William David Perez, 36, was summoned on Sunday at 3:17 p.m. for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle following a motor vehicle crash at A Plus Market at 50 Central St.
Arthur Nikolaos Houdanis, 41, of 11 Morningside Drive, Topsfield, was summoned on Sunday at 9:15 p.m. at Burlington following a report of past shoplifting and charged with shoplifting, two counts of possession of a Class B substance, and two counts of a Class E substance.
Gesiele Nenes, 29, of 8 Tracy St., was summoned for unlicensed operating a motor vehicle following a motor vehicle crash on Monday at 11:40 a.m. at 310 Lowell St.
Accidents
Two motor vehicles were involved in a crash at 230 Andover and 82 Prospect streets on Sunday at 7:50 p.m. Officer reports no injuries and no tow trucks needed.
Motor vehicle crash with airbag deployment on Monday at 9 a.m. on Berry Street. Officer requested two tow trucks.
Animal Control
Caller from 12 MacArthur Road called the animal control officer on Monday at 9:45 a.m. about a parrot found in Peabody on Sept. 13. She thinks it may be her missing Sun Conure. Officer left voicemail for party who found the bird requesting callback. The found parrot was never reported to the animal control officer. Peabody resident called back to say the Quaker parrot he found went back with its owner within a week in Worcester. Officer called missing Sun Conure owner and told her the located parrot was not hers. No further action required.
The animal control officer was asked to remove a coyote near the middle school on Monday at 1:59 p.m. The officer contacted the Massachusetts Environmental Police and they will not respond unless needed. Patrol officers stayed in the area, watching the coyote as school was released.
A report of a tan and white PitBull mix following children home to 88 Glenway Ave. on Monday at 3:05 p.m. Officer reports the dog was returned to its owner.

Resident from 107 Foster St., Apt. 102 reports loud noise, an ongoing issue nightly, loud banging from Delcore Music Publishing in Apt. 202 on Sunday at 10:42. Officer reports all is quiet, an elderly party and her son live there.
Officer requested to check gathering at Leather City Commons at 77 Lowell St. on Monday at 12:53 a.m. Four people who were just looking for a dry spot to smoke a cigarette were sent on their way. All is in order at this time.
Request for the Department of Public Works to use cones to close Railroad Avenue because it was flooded on Sunday at 5:26 p.m.
