A report of suspicious activity at 10:30 p.m. Thursday at Hampton Inn at 59 Newbury St. A clerk reported a man in a black sweatsuit was in the lobby taking pictures of the hotel. She didn’t know if the man was a guest there and was afraid to ask. Police reported the man was staying in one of the rooms and there must have been a miscommunication.
A report of a disturbance at 11:58 p.m. Thursday at Maddy’s Car Wash at 300 Andover St. A neighbor reported numerous motorcycles in the car wash doing burnouts and being loud. Police reported the motorcycles had finished and left the area.
A neighborhood dispute was reported at 12:21 p.m. Friday at 170 Lynn St. A caller reported his property was being trespassed by the people at 170 Lynn St. An officer reported the workers were parked on the side of the red line they were told they could park on.
Theft
A report of a larceny at 12:31 p.m. Friday at Extended Stay America at 200 Jubilee Drive. A caller reported his phone was stolen while doing work at the Extended Stay. Employees reported the person found his phone and left before police arrived.
Vandalism
A report of vandalism at 1:13 p.m. Friday at Higgins Middle School at 85 North Perkins St. A car was reportedly egged in the parking lot.
