Arrests 

Donald Baillie, 37, of 59 Walnut St., Peabody, was arrested and charged on a warrant charge of assault and battery at 6:19 p.m. Monday. 

William Burris, 52, of 27 Huss Court, was arrested and charged with arrestee furnishing false ID information and on warrant charges of two counts of Class B drug distribution at 3:18 a.m. Tuesday. 

Joshua Cadet, 28, of 444 Harrison Ave., Boston, was arrested and charged with three counts of assault and battery with a restraining order in effect and threat to commit a crime at 3:13 p.m. Monday. 

Edward McCusker, 37, of 117 Eastern Ave., was arrested and charged with trespassing and violation of the open container law at 5:02 p.m. Tuesday.

A report of motor vehicle vandalism at 10:59 a.m. Tuesday at 74 Starrett Road; at 2:22 p.m. Tuesday at 535 Essex St. 

A report of vandalism at 3:02 p.m. Tuesday at 127 Union St. 

LYNNFIELD

Alarms 

Officer reports he is on the scene of an audible burglar alarm on Monday at 12:46 p.m. at 150 Walnut St. Officer reports the power company is on scene and that could be the cause of the false alarm.

Burglar alarm that detected motion in the garage was canceled on Monday at 3:38 p.m. 

Medical Aid 

Ambulance requested on Monday at 8:24 a.m. at 19 Old Towne Road for a 61-year-old woman who complained of feeling dizzy. Patient taken to the hospital.

The Little Treasures School House at 320 South Broadway requested an ambulance for a 15-month-old boy who fell and struck his head on Monday at 9:59 a.m. Child taken to the hospital.

A 76-year-old woman suffering from chest pain at 300King Rail Drive, Apt. 214 requested an ambulance on Monday at 12:30 p.m. Patient taken to the hospital.

A 911 call was received from Lahey Urgent Care at 1350 Market St. on Monday at 4:07 p.m. for a pre-anaphylactic patient. The person was taken to Winchester Hospital.

A man called 911 from 5 Magnolia Drive to report he has fallen and can’t get up on Tuesday at 2:28 a.m. Patient taken to Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington.

MARBLEHEAD

Complaints

A caller reported at 12:07 p.m. on Monday that they got a call from someone claiming to be from National Grid who stated their bill was too high.

A caller reported at 3:35 p.m. on Tuesday that he is a store owner on Pleasant Street and after going through tapes he realized a few school kids shoplifted from there.

A caller reported kids on bikes were riding through traffic near Pleasant Street at 5:24 p.m. on Monday.

A caller reported a strange sound coming from the tower near Tioga Way and Hoods Lane at 6:43 p.m. on Monday. Responding officers reported they didn’t find any unusual humming sounds.

PEABODY 

Arrest

Rosalie Monteiro, 58, of 7 Tipert St., Danvers, was arrested for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor and negligent operation following a report of an operator who had crossed the double lines several times on Main Street on Sunday at 6:33 p.m. Officer reports she was asked three times to exit the vehicle but refused. She was placed in custody and taken to the police station. Malia’s Towing took the vehicle. 

Accidents 

Motor vehicle crash with a fire reported on Sunday at 2:57 p.m. at Route 128 South and 0 Centennial Drive. Call handled by the Massachusetts State Police. 

Police assisted store security with a shoplifter at Macy’s at 210 Andover St. on Sunday at 3:09 p.m. 

Report of a multi-vehicle crash with injuries at 10 Margin and 68 Driscoll streets on Sunday at 3:27 p.m. Officer reports three vehicles towed and one operator taken to the hospital.

Motor vehicle crash reported on Monday at 11:49 a.m. at the Northshore Mall at 210 North Andover St. Officer reports no injuries and will document. 

Animal Control

Officer checked on three dogs at 6 Maple St. with animal control officer from Arlington on Monday at 1:33 p.m. The dogs appear to have been groomed and in good health. No further action required. 

Complaints

Report of kids on bikes riding in traffic at 2 Lynnfield and 287 Washington streets on Sunday at 6:03 p.m. Officer spoke with the teens who said they will practice better bike safety going forward. 

A second call about kids in traffic was received on Sunday at 6:05 p.m. Caller said teens are taking turns running in and out of traffic and sitting on the yellow line on Endicott Street in front of Evans Flowers. Officer spoke with kids and sent them on their way.

Bullying reported at Higgins Middle School at 85 Perkins St. on Sunday at 6:33 p.m. Officer will document. 

Loud music reported coming from a small blue pickup truck in the parking lot at 58 Pulaski St. on Sunday at 7:40 p.m. Officer checked the lot and the vehicle was gone.

Caller from the Century House Restaurant at 235 Andover St. reports a possibly intoxicated woman left the cafe on Route 114 westbound in a blue Mazda SUV with a Boston Bruins license plate BRAR27 on Sunday at 9:22 p.m. Officer reports no matching plate number in the system. Checked the area to the Danvers town line. The Danvers Police Department was contacted. 

Well-being check requested for a reported baby crying for several hours at 4 Esquire Circle on Sunday at 10:01 p.m. Officer spoke with the reporting party and all is quiet now. 

Employee of Nick’s Roast Beef at 145 Summit St. reports Kasey Herrera, 23, of 16 Crowninshield St., demanded a refund for a late delivery and cold pizza that was delivered. She was given a refund without incident and then demanded a free pizza for having to drive back and then threw items around the restaurant on Sunday at 2:40 p.m. and drove off in a 2016 black Acura ILX with Massachusetts plate 2PSD61. Officer checked the parking lot of the residence and the suspect vehicle was not there. Officer made contact with the suspect and met in the parking lot. No charges were filed but the customer is no longer allowed in Nick’s.

Brenda Mavros from 14 Gardner St. was reported missing by her parents on Monday at 3:03 a.m. She was in possession of a 2009 blue Audi with Massachusetts license plate 9YY629. Officer reports a be on the lookout was issued. Mr. Mavros called back to say his daughter was safe and is at home. 

Illegal dumping reported on Monday at 12:55 p.m. at the Peabody Glass & Mirror Co. at 29 Howley St. Officer reports suspect’s contact information is in the trash. The Salem Police Department was asked to contact the suspect, but they reported he does not live there.

Wire down reported at 22 Pine St. on Monday at 1:26 p.m. Officer reports Verizon is working on the repair.
