Letter to the Editor: A vote for Montano

I have known Saugus Board of Selectmen candidate Domenic Montano for the past seven years and no one has had a more profound impact on me than Domenic.

I have found Domenic to be a true friend and a polite, intelligent, kind and courteous police officer in the town of Saugus. He goes out of his way to help people at all times.

When my Saugus K9, Bruin, was diagnosed with cancer and had to be “put to sleep,” it was Domenic who organized with hard work and without my knowledge, a parade with more than 30 K9s and their handlers on the night before I took Bruin to the veterinarian’s office. It was such a special honor for Bruin, myself, and my family. It was a day we will always remember and cherish.

Domenic is a true friend, gentleman, a hard worker, and a person that I will always respect and hold in a special place in my heart. I wish Domenic the very best in any and all plans that he may have in the future.
