A caller reported at 12:42 p.m. on Tuesday that he went to the Little Store on Green Street for lunch and the front door was open with no one around. Responding officers reported the oven was on and the store was unoccupied and it appeared an employee may have walked out. At 1:19 p.m., the store owner showed up.
A caller reported a child was in a tree on Auburndale Road at 5:10 p.m. on Tuesday. They stated the little girl went up about 20 feet and became stuck. Responding officers reported she was about 30 feet up and uninjured, but was stuck. By 5:39 p.m., she was lowered from the tree.

Motor vehicle crash reported at La Siesta at 3 Main St. on Tuesday at 11:47 a.m. Officer reports no injuries and no vehicles towed.
Animal Control
Report from a resident of 10 Scott Drive complained that her neighbor’s dog barks at her through a hole in the shared fence when she’s mowing her lawn, on Tuesday at 8:39 a.m. She wants the animal control officer to tell the neighbor to repair the hole. On callback, animal control officer said she cannot force the neighbor to patch up the hole in the fence, it’s a civil matter. She was also advised to stay away from the hole, if she was uncomfortable with the dog. Izzy is licensed and vaccinated against rabies.
Caller reported a stray rooster on Charles Street on Tuesday at 9:56 a.m. Animal control officer reports the rooster was transported to Borash Veterinary Clinic.
Caller from 3 Sycamore Circle left a voicemail for the animal control officer on Tuesday at 8:39 a.m. requesting callback with confirmation that neither she, nor anyone in her family, did not come into direct contact with a sick raccoon. Caller reports there was no exposure to any human or pet. No further action required.

Caller from Lt. Ross Park on Johnson Street reports a man is taking pictures of kids on Monday at 3:29 p.m. Reporting party said the man was doing the same thing a few months ago. Caller said she will point the man out to police. Officer spoke with the reporting party and the man did not take pictures. He was sitting on a bench and when he was approached, he left the area on a bike. Officer will check the area for the man, whose name they had, but was unable to locate him. Officer spoke with the man’s relatives who said he was out for a bike ride. Officer will document.
Report of a black Chevrolet pickup blocking the driveway at Tannery Gardens at 111 Foster St. on Monday at 4:16 p.m. Officer located the owner who agreed to move the vehicle.
Caller from Pulaski Street reported a tan sedan inbound from Danvers operating erratically, stopping abruptly on Monday at 5:06 a.m. Officer checked the area but the car was gone upon arrival.
A 6-year-old boy was reported struck by a vehicle at 4 Whitney Drive and 11 Holden St. on Monday at 5:34 p.m. The child was conscious and alert and suffered an ankle injury and some cuts and bruises. Officer reports two children were struck while riding their bikes. One was taken to Salem Hospital by his parents and the other did not seek medical attention. Officer will document.
Employee from Champion’s Pub at 114 Foster St. reports staff is trying to remove an unruly customer on Monday at 6:29 p.m. The man is described as white, 5-feet-11-inches tall with tattoos. He was having a verbal argument with his girlfriend and left prior to police arrival. Officer will attempt to make contact with the customer to tell him he is not welcome in the pub.
Homeowner from 120 Main St. reported someone dumped two couches in front of her home and they do not belong to any of her tenants. Officer reports the Department of Public Works was contacted and will remove the furniture.
