LYNN

Arrests 

Katherina Alves, 25, of 100 Willow St., was arrested and charged with the operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license at 9:59 p.m. Sunday. 

Brendan Beninati, 26, was arrested and charged with trespassing at 12:49 p.m. Monday. 

Kamronsovam Chhoeun, 38, of 152 Essex St., was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and Class B drug possession at 4:41 p.m. Sunday. 

Mark Gigliello, of 13 Jarvis St., Revere, was arrested on a warrant charge of larceny at 12:14 p.m. Monday. 

Edgar Lopez-Chilel, 30, of 17 Hamilton Ave., was arrested and charged with drinking in public at 6:41 p.m. Sunday. 

Joel Lopez-Chilel, 25, of 17 Hamilton Ave., was arrested and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and drinking in public at 6:21 p.m. on Sunday. 

Zaul Merida, 21, of 9 Mansfield Place, was arrested and charged with larceny from a person and on a warrant charge of unarmed robbery at 10:57 a.m. Monday. 

Nicole Mitchell, 26, of 71 Revere St., Gloucester, was arrested and charged with trespassing and on warrant charges of three counts of Class A drug possession, three counts of Class B drug possession, conspiracy to violate the drug law, failure to signal, truck breaking and entering for a felony, receiving stolen property, and possession of a burglarious instrument at 12:44 p.m. Monday. 

Willis Taveras was arrested on warrant charges of threat to commit a crime and shoplifting by concealing merchandise at 2:12 p.m. Monday.

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 12:04 p.m. Sunday at 216 Oxford St.; at 1:03 p.m. Sunday at 820 Lynnfield St.; at 1:16 p.m. Sunday at 102 Boston St.; at 3:41 p.m. Sunday at 12 Park St.; at 6:37 a.m. Monday at North Shore Community College at 300 Broad St. 

A report of a motor vehicle crash with personal injury at 10:44 a.m. Monday at 330 Lynnway.

A report of a motor vehicle hit and run crash at 1:17 p.m. Monday at 175 Den Quarry Road.

A report of an assault and battery at 8:33 p.m. Sunday at Domino’s Pizza on Western Avenue; at 1:40 p.m. Monday on Park Street.

Accidents 

Motor vehicle crash reported at the 99 Restaurant at 317 Salem St. on Friday at 8:48 p.m. Officer spoke with both operators and they will exchange information. 

Hit and run crash reported at J.M. Electrical at 471 North Broadway on Saturday at 9:42 a.m. Officer took report. 

A 911 call reported a motor vehicle crash with property damage in front of Wahlburgers at 930 Market St. on Saturday at 10:35 p.m. No details given.

Alarms 

Security company reported residential burglar alarm on Friday at 7:44 a.m. at 2 Westway. Officer dispatched, spoke with homeowners, and confirmed it was accidental.

Fire alarm reported at St. Maria Goretti Church at 112 Chestnut St. on Friday at 12:01 p.m. Call referred to the Lynnfield Fire Department.

A 911 hangup call received from 10 Kimball Lane on Friday at 12:05 p.m. Telephone busy on call back. Officer reported it was an accident.

FE Moran Security Systems reports fire alarm accidentally set off by technician working at the Christmas Tree Store at 28 South Broadway on Friday at 8:01 p.m. 

Fire alarm sounded at 44 Grove St. on Friday at 10:28 p.m. Officer reports the smoke was caused by using the fireplace with a closed flue.

Medical alarm company reported a request for an ambulance on Saturday at 4:09 a.m. at 101 Ross Drive Apt. 1 for an elderly woman who fell and bumped her head. Patient was taken to Lahey Hospital & Medical Center.

Security company reported commercial burglar alarm for Justice at MarketStreet on Saturday at 9:13. Detail officer reported all is OK. 

Burglar alarm canceled at Anton’s Cleaners at 8 Center St. on Sunday at 8:18 a.m.

Accidental burglar alarm sounded at Lynnfield Middle School at 505 Main St. on Monday at 2:09 a.m. Officer reports building is secure. 

Animal Control 

Caller reported finding a black dog on Liberty Lane on Friday at 1:32 p.m. Reporting party said they would call the animal control officer. 

Complaints 

Caller reported juvenile on a bike doing wheelies on Friday at 11:31 a.m. at 448 Main and 45 Chestnut streets. Officer spoke with the boy’s father who said he will pick him up. 

Report of wires down and sparking on Friday at 2:29 p.m. at the Lynnfield Water District office at 842 Salem St. Peabody Light and the Massachusetts Highway Department have been contacted. 

Caller reported a tree is leaning on wires on Friday at 6:22 p.m. before the Summer Street School heading towards the center. Officer located the section where the trees in the wires need to be cut. Reading Light notified. 

Officer spoke with a resident who walked into the police station about problems with their son at 283 Lowell St. on Saturday at 4:14 p.m. 

Resident of 2 Melody Lane reported he heard music upstairs and wants an officer to check it out on Friday at 8:28 p.m. Officer to check house. 

Homeowner at 350 Walnut St. reported unknown car blocking their driveway on Saturday at 5:21 p.m. Car moved before responding unit arrived.

Breaking and entering into two motor vehicles reported on Sunday at 10 a.m. at 6 Nottingham Road. Officer took report. A second report of a B&E into a vehicle came at 10:17 a.m. from 6 Doncaster Road. No details provided. 

Malicious destruction of property reported at 477 Main St. A caller reported a Halloween blow up was destroyed by kids on Sunday at 10 p.m. 

Caller reported a bag in the road at the Lynnfield Middle School at 505 Main St. on Sunday at 11:51 a.m. Officer said the report was unfounded.

Medical Aid 

Ambulance requested on Friday at 10:41 a.m. at 662 Salem St. Officer reports patient taken to the hospital.

Animal Clinic of Lynnfield at 1 Bay State Road on Friday at 2:42 p.m. requested an ambulance for a woman who passed out. Patient taken to the hospital.

Medical aid requested for a child who fell on Friday at 3:26 p.m. at 130 Summer St. 

Ambulance requested at 5 Elliot Road on Friday at 6:32 p.m. Patient taken to Brigham & Women’s Hospital.

Request for an ambulance at 159 Chestnut St. on Saturday at 8:57 a.m. for a person who fell. Patient taken to the hospital.

Request for an ambulance at 607 Salem St. on Sunday at 11:04 a.m. Patient taken to the hospital.

Peabody Police Department requested medical aid at 607 Salem St. on Sunday at 11:04 a.m. The Fire Department reports they were turned away at the door. Officer requests for them to return. Patient was taken to Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington. 

Pottery Barn Kids at 1500 Market St. requested an ambulance on Sunday at 12:47 p.m. Patient taken to Salem Hospital.

MARBLEHEAD 

Arrest 

Mark C. Hempel, 60, of 95 Front St., Apt. 5, was arrested and charged with OUI liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and resisting arrest at 6:31 p.m. on Sunday. 

Accidents 

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 6:31 p.m. Sunday on Pleasant Street. Mark C. Hempel, 60, was arrested for OUI liquor and motor vehicle violations. 

Complaints 

A caller reported smelling a skunk and gas in a Gregory Street home at 5:09 a.m. Monday. Police reported that there was no gas odor in the home. There was a smell of skunk only. 

PEABODY 

Arrests 

Cameron Shayne Loizides, 19, of 27 Longview Way, was arrested on Saturday at 1:26 a.m. and charged with assault and battery on a household member.

Crisniel Soto, 27, of 142 Shore Drive, was arrested following a report of a fight outside Oliveira’s Steak House at 74 Walnut St. on Sunday at 12:05 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct. 

John Joseph Barteaux, 52, of 65 Main St., was arrested on Sunday at 10:44 a.m. on two counts of assault and battery on a police officer, disorderly conduct and threats to kill following a well-being check at his home.

Summons

Matthew Broderick, 28, of 190 Bridge St., Salem, was summoned following a motor vehicle stop at 45 Shore Drive for operating a motor vehicle with a canceled license and a marked lanes violation. 

Kiana Gamble, 23, of  234B Washington St., was summoned following a motor vehicle stop at Rainbow Circle and Rainbow Road on Saturday at 5:39 p.m. for attaching plates.

Accidents 

Officer reports a motor vehicle crash on Friday at 2:12 p.m. at 415 Lowell and 30 Baldwin streets. Officer reports no injuries,  one vehicle towed by Four Star Towing, and officer will document the crash.

Report of a motor vehicle crash with no injuries on Endicott Street in Wilson Square on Friday at 2:55 p.m. Officer reports no tow trucks needed and will document. Motor vehicle crash reported on Friday at 3:25 p.m. at 721 Lowell St. One vehicle towed and officer will document. Caller reported a motor vehicle crash on Friday at 5:12 p.m. Officer reports no injuries, no tow trucks needed, and will document the crash.

Pedestrian hit by a motor vehicle at 148 Washington and 2 Hancock streets on Friday at 6:26 p.m. Patient taken to Salem Hospital and officer will document the crash.

Motor vehicle crash reported at Dunkin’ Donuts at 256 Andover St. on Friday at 7:02 p.m. No injury, no tows, and officer will document.

Animal Control

Caller very upset that someone left a dog in their car at the Sylvan Street Grill at 12 Sylvan St. on Sunday 2:56 p.m. Animal control officer reports no issues, owners are leaving with the dog.

Report of a raccoon in the backyard at 3 Sycamore Circle on Sunday at 4:05 p.m. She believes the animal is rabid. Raccoon was put to sleep and will be delivered to the Department of Public Works for disposal.

Complaints

Crossing guard at the Brown Elementary School reports a tree service truck parked on Dexter Street and is creating a traffic hazard on Friday at 2:32 p.m. Officer reports the tree company was trimming trees for Peabody Municipal Light Plant and will resume when school is dismissed. 

Caller from 17 Sewall St., Apt. 202 reports his son’s friends won’t stop sleeping over on Friday at 7:56 p.m. 

Officer reports wire down at 217 Lynn St. prior to Brown’s Pond where a tree branch is blocking the driveway on Friday at 8:16 p.m. Peabody Municipal Light Plant has been contacted and are on the scene. All clear.

Tree down in the vicinity of 54 Perkins St. on Friday at 4 p.m. The Department of Public Works has been notified. Second downed tree reported at Westview Circle and Margin Street at 4:10 p.m. 

Caller from 617 Lowell St. advising he is having a verbal dispute with his contractor on Saturday at 7:31 a.m. He asked contractor to leave the property but he is refusing. Received a second call from the contractor’s worker and all were advised to stay away from each other and wait for officers to arrive. Officer advised the issue was a civil matter, officer will document.

Caller reports his car was damaged overnight at 4 Tremont St. on Saturday at 7:56 a.m. No suspects. Officer will document the damage.

Local business owner is threatening to close Kennedy Field Park and charge $50 per space to park on Saturday at 8:33 a.m. Staff from the Park Department called dispatch and stated that the city has an agreement to park there and the agreement is in the Parks Department office, but is not accessible until Tuesday.

SWAMPSCOTT 

Complaints 

A report of suspicious activity at 7:50 a.m. Sunday at 531 Humphrey St. 

Overdose 

A report of an overdose at 12:34 a.m. Sunday on Paradise Road.
