Motor vehicle crash was reported on Monday at 7:31 a.m. at 807 Salem St. and Canterbury Road. Police received a 911 call for a hit and run accident. The party that hit and ran left their license plate behind. Officer dispatched, report taken, potential criminal charges to be filed.

Accidental burglar alarm reported by the homeowner at 30 Island Road on Monday at 8:06 p.m.
Alarm company reports burglar alarm sounded at the
Lynnfield Water Department (LWD) pump station on Route 1 on Tuesday at 3:22 a.m. Officer dispatch and met with LWD employee on site. Checked building, the alarm was accidentally set off.
Animal Control
Caller reported a turkey in the middle of the road causing traffic issues at 683 Walnut St. and 9 Bluejay Road on Monday at 9:15 a.m. Officers checked the area and were unable to locate the animal, traffic was flowing smoothly.

Property manager at Storage at 102 South Broadway reported a man came on the property and assaulted a tenant on Monday at 2:03 p.m. Suspect was described as a man, 5 feet 4 inches tall, thin, with a gray shirt, blue jeans.
Officer requested at 2 Lander Road on Monday at 8:38 p.m. for assistance with a family issue.
Medical Aid
Ambulance requested at 6 Pond View Lane on Monday at 7:12 p.m. Patient taken to Winchester Hospital.
A 911 call was received on Tuesday at 12:53 a.m. from a man complaining of shortness of breath and pneumonia symptoms at 506 Salem St. Rescue, fire engine and police dispatched. Patient taken to Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington.

Arrest
Federico S. Musso, 23, of 64 Beach St., was arrested on a non-Marblehead warrant charge at 8:04 p.m. on Monday.

A caller reported at 1:44 p.m. on Monday that an employee’s car was hit in a parking lot on Widger Road.
A caller reported a motor vehicle crash at Lafayette Street and Tully Road at 7:42 a.m. on Tuesday.
Complaints
A caller reported at 11:12 a.m. on Monday that on Sunday a group of three males on bikes were riding without regard to traffic at Ocean and Atlantic avenues and had no helmets on. She stated she honked and almost hit them but they were unfazed by the presence of cars.
A walk-in reported two calls at 1:33 p.m. on Monday. They stated one was from the Social Security administration and the second was from the FBI Investigative Unit. The dispatcher advised the caller that both were scams.
A caller reported at 3:56 p.m. on Monday that she got a call from the Chinese Embassy telling her she was going to be returned to Beijing and will have to serve a five-month prison sentence. Dispatch reported she was upset on the phone and asked that they send officers to her house to protect her. She was advised it was a scam call and the Embassy would not call and threaten her.
A caller reported at 6:49 p.m. on Monday that they could hear someone yelling for help on the trail near Smith and Pleasant streets. They stated they weren’t sure if they lost a child or a dog but they could hear people yelling. Responding officers reported no one was around or calling for help.
A caller reported at 5:15 a.m. on Tuesday that her car was stolen sometime Monday night. She stated she knew who stole it because he has done so in the past. Marblehead dispatch contacted Salem Police, who stated there was a motor vehicle crash involving the stolen vehicle in which the operator struck six cars and left the scene. He was taken into custody and put on a 12-hour hold for operating under the influence.

Joseph Michael Mitrano, 30, of 18 Sea Breeze Lane, Apt. A, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, license not in possession, and a stop sign violation.
Arturo Sosa Jr., 33, of 39 Cutler St., Winthrop, was arrested and charged with speeding at a rate of speed that exceeds the posted limit and domestic assault and battery on an intimate partner.

A report of a motor vehicle accident at Nahant and Rosemary roads at 6:19 p.m. Saturday.

A caller reported that as she was leaving the Edgehill Apartments she heard someone yelling from the third floor at 7:06 p.m. Wednesday.
The Department of Public Works was notified of a strong odor of gas on Vernon Street at 11:36 a.m. Thursday.
A caller reported a missing package at 12:10 p.m. Thursday.
An unknown motorist flagged down a police officer to report a man talking to the flowers at the DCR Beach lot at 12:42 p.m. Thursday. Nahant police reported the man is “believed to be an African American male wearing a gray sweatshirt.” State police were notified.
A report of a fire on Wilson Road at 2:07 p.m. Friday. The fire was in the basement of a home and put out with an extinguisher.
Kids were reportedly hanging out on the basketball court making a lot of noise at Flash and Castle roads at 11:12 p.m.
A caller reported seeing an object floating in the water near Tudor Wharf at 11:54 a.m. Saturday. A fisherman reported the object was a deceased dog. Police report it is a raccoon.
A report of vandalism on Willow Road at 12:28 p.m. Saturday.
Six vehicles were reported to be parked illegally on Nahant Road at 4:10 p.m. Saturday.
A caller on Range Road reported dogs barking at 7:38 p.m. Saturday.
A caller reported several unleashed dogs running into the yards in the area of Black Rock Beach at 11:29 a.m. Saturday. Police educated several dog owners of the bylaws.

Summons
Orlin Anariva, 31, was issued a summons following a motor vehicle stop at Route 128 and Centennial Drive for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speeding on Monday at 2:17 p.m.
Juvenile was summoned following a report of theft from Macy’s at the Northshore Mall for shoplifting by concealment and possession of burglary tools on Monday at 2:27 p.m.
Accidents
Motor vehicle hit and run crash reported at the Northshore Mall on 210 Andover St. on Sunday at 7:17 p.m. Caller said a Honda Odyssey struck his vehicle and fled on Route 128 North. The Danvers Police Department was asked to check the well-being of the party that fled the scene.
Report of a motor vehicle crash at 232 Newbury and 550 Lowell streets on Monday at 8:40 a.m. Glasses were broken in the crash.
Caller reports his vehicle was struck by another vehicle at 4 Washington St. and the operator fled the area. Suspect vehicle is a red Ford Taurus with Indiana plate BLC419. The driver is described as a white man, 5-foot-10-inches tall wearing flip flops, shorts and an orange short with a smiley face on it. The vehicle was last seen on Washington Street driving towards Salem.

Caller reported he was involved in a motor vehicle crash on Monday at 1:04 p.m. at 7 Stevens St. He told police he cannot exchange information with the other operator because he is making hand gestures and has a gun. Police report there were no weapons, no injuries, no tows.
Animal Control
Caller from CVS Pharmacy on 174 Main St. reports she found a small, black shaggy dog running loose which she secured in her vehicle for safe keeping on Sunday at 5:42 p.m. The officer took the dog to Borash Veterinary Clinic. Owner called 911 from 12 Holten St. and police will deliver the pet.
Report of two dogs loose on Glenway Avenue on Monday at 9:38 a.m. Officer was unable to locate the animals.
Caller left a message for the animal control officer on Monday at 11:29 a.m. complaining about a barking dog at 48 Downing Road. No answer on call back. Officer sent a ticket and copy of the barking ordinance to Linda Smith, 48 Downing Road. Her Golden Doodle is licensed and vaccinated against rabies.
Report of two dogs constantly barking next door to 242 Washington St. on Monday at 2:54 p.m. A warning and a copy of the barking ordinance was sent to Peter Welch, 7 Sutton St., Apt. B. His three dogs are licensed and vaccinated.

Disturbance reported on Scott Drive on Sunday at 6:13 p.m. Reporting party called back to say the music has been lowered. After caller reported the noise, she said the loud parties might have a police scanner.
Suspicious person was reported on Monday at 9:56 a.m. at 26 Bowditch St. Caller said the man entered his neighbor’s driveway and took a black plastic bag with red handles. The reporting party said they contacted the owner and learned the bag contains recycled bottles and cans. Caller said the man is wearing tan pants and a tan cap. Officers checked the area and could not locate the man.
Second grade runaway reported at the Center School at 18 Irving St. on Monday at 12:41 p.m. The boy is white with blond hair. Child ran home where police spoke to his mother. The boy will stay at home for the day.
