Complaints
A caller reported a neighbor was trying to move in and had their stuff blocking the sidewalk at 10:04 a.m. Sunday on Washington Street. She reportedly asked the person to move and the neighbor refused. Police reported the neighbors had moved their stuff outside temporarily while they were painting and the sidewalk would be open soon.
A caller reported an exercise machine was left outside with a “free” sign for anyone who wanted it, but kids came by and destroyed it at 11:30 a.m. Sunday on Meadow Lane.
Fire
A report of a structure fire at 12:07 a.m. Monday on Seaview Avenue. A house fire was reported, but the caller said it was confined to a grill on the back porch.
Overdose
A report of an opioid overdose at 10:43 p.m. Sunday on Washington Street. The person was taken to the hospital.

Arrests
Cody Goodwin, 21, of 33 Storey Ave., Beverly, was arrested following a report of a domestic disturbance at 7 Central St., Apt. 301 on Friday at 8:55 p.m. He was arrested for domestic assault and battery on an intimate partner, strangulation or suffocation, and disorderly conduct.
Alexa Schnon, 20, of 7 Central St., Apt. 401, was arrested on Friday at 10:54 p.m. on a warrant for leaving the scene of a hit and run crash with property damage.
Erick Laurent, 32, of 50 Medford St., Apt. 721, was arrested for disorderly conduct on Saturday at 10:45 p.m. following a report of a dispute between the groom and someone parked in the parking lot at Azorean Brotherhood of the Divine Holy Ghost on a warrant for leaving the scene of a hit and run crash with property damage.
Summons
Ricardo Pinto, 36, of 3 Bates Road, Winchester, was summoned on Friday at 3:04 p.m. following a motor vehicle stop at 405 Lynnfield St. for operating a motor vehicle without a license, insurance, and a revoked registration.
Marie Veda Nays, 35, of 9 Littles Lane, Apt. 1-F, was summoned for assault and battery following a report by her ex-boyfriend that she assaulted him at McDonald’s Restaurant at 133 Main St. on Sunday at 4:10 p.m.
Paul Luciano, 76, of 8 Crowninshield St., was summoned for assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon following a report that he almost struck a child in the parking lot on Sunday at 7 p.m. When confronted by the child’s parents, he pulled a pocket knife on the family and then went inside the building.
Desirae D. Payano, 36, of 34 Park St., Apt 1, Salem, was summoned on Monday at 6:24 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle following license suspension.
