LYNN — Police said a 21 year-old man shot in a parking lot between Chatham Street and Oakwood Avenue apartment buildings Sunday night is in stable condition.
The man was transported to Massachusetts General Hospital after police responded at 9:20 p.m. to the area of 333 Chatham Street for a report of shots fired. They found the Lynn man suffering from gunshot wounds and being treated by friends, said police Lt. Michael Kmiec.
Kmiec said no arrests have been made in the shooting as of 9:45 a.m. Monday. The shooting is the second in four days in Lynn. A man was grazed by a bullet fired Friday afternoon at the corner of Silsbee and Friend streets.
