Omar Gutierrez, 40, of 78 Whiting St., was arrested on warrant charges of operating a motor vehicle on a suspended license and a lights violation and charged with a straight warrant at 10:10 p.m. on Thursday.

Scott Janiluinas, of 60 Woodville St., Everett, was arrested on warrant charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and failure to stop or yield at 8:11 a.m. on Friday.


A report of a motor vehicle crash at Bay View Ave and Beacon Hill Avenue at 6:16 p.m. on Thursday; at Washington Street and Oxford Street at 7:26 p.m. on Thursday; at Laighton Street and Washington Street at 10:52 p.m. on Thursday.

A report of a hit and run motor vehicle crash at 384 Eastern Ave. at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

A report of a motor vehicle crash with personal injury at Lawton Avenue and Western Avenue at 2:50 a.m. on Friday; at Curran Road and Keslar Avenue at 7:47 a.m. on Friday.


A report of an assault at 20 Albany St. at 9:15 p.m. on Thursday.


A report of a fight at 100 Empire St. at 10:54 p.m. on Thursday; at Trios Mexican Grill, 70 Market St., at 12:28 a.m. on Friday.

A report of threats made at 38 Exchange St. at 9:49 a.m. on Friday.


A report of a larceny at 583 Lynnway at 3:07 p.m. on Thursday; at 35 Mt. Pleasant St. at 4:01 p.m. on Thursday; at 351 Summer St. at 8:54 p.m. on Thursday.



Nicole Marie Crawford, 28, of 16 Durham Drive was arrested on an out of town warrant on Thursday at 1:11 p.m. Lynnfield Police Department was later asked to transfer a female prisoner to the Middleton House of Correction on Thursday at 7 p.m. 


Motor vehicle crash reported on Thursday at 1:36 p.m. at J.M. Electrical at 471 North Broadway. Crash booked by the Massachusetts State Police. Operator refused medical attention. 


Motion detector sounded the burglar alarm at the Huckleberry Hill School at 5 Knoll Road on Friday at 1:19 a.m. Officer reports all is secure.

Fire alarm reported at 35 Stillman Road on Friday at 2:08 a.m. Call referred to the Lynnfield Fire Department. 


Suspicious auto reported at Donovans Liquor at 449 North Broadway on Thursday at 8:23 p.m. Caller said the occupants of two pickup trucks are drinking alcohol in the parking lot. Officer reports the lot is empty.

Medical Aid 

Alarm company reported a resident has fallen at 4 Keniston Road on Thursday at 8:15 a.m. Patient was provided a lift assist. 

Sunrise Assisted Living at 55 Salem St. requested an ambulance on Thursday at 1 p.m. Patient taken to Union Hospital.

Medical aid requested at the Christmas Tree Shop at 28 South Broadway on Thursday at 7:10 p.m. Lynnfield Fire Department responded but patient refused an ambulance.



Beren J. Cameron, 41, of 20 Roosevelt Ave., was arrested on a Marblehead warrant and charged with shoplifting by asportation at 4:17 p.m. on Thursday.


A parent called in at 8:11 a.m. on Thursday and stated they were concerned about the drop off/pick up mess at the Glover School. She stated people park wherever they want and walk across the middle of Maple Street in the middle of traffic.

A walk-in reported at 2:03 p.m. on Thursday and stated she has watched kids on bikes come down Bessom Street every morning and go toward the tracks without stopping or looking. She stated if there was a crosswalk there it may be safer for people.

A caller reported a Social Security scam call at 2:09 p.m. on Thursday.

A walk-in reported at 3:40 p.m. on Thursday that he has a video of his Waldron Court Place neighbor ripping flowers from his property.



Jose Romero, 45, of 296 Washington St., Apt. 4, Salem was arrested on Wednesday at 10:50 p.m. following a report of a white Volvo station wagon running with a man sitting in the vehicle, unsure if he is sleeping. He was arrested for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, second offense. Arrington Towing enroute for the vehicle.


Jacqueline Moran was summoned following a motor vehicle stop at KinderCare at 520 Lowell St. on Thursday at 1:27 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance.

Animal Control

Caller from 59 Fairview Ave. reported a missing cat on Wednesday at 3:01 p.m. Animal control officer called back and left a message seeking more information. 

Caller from Hilltop Drive reported a dog that barks two hours in the morning and two hours at night and is barking now on Wednesday at 5:49 p.m. Animal control officer sat in the area and could not hear any barking dogs. 

Several calls about an older black Labrador Retriever loose in the area of One Sylvan St. on Thursday at 8:31 a.m.

The dog was located and reunited with the dog sitter. Casey belongs to Dom DiFasio from Lynn.


Motor vehicle crash reported at 204 Washington St. on Wednesday at 3:16 p.m. Officer reports no injuries, and no vehicles towed.

Report of a motor vehicle crash at Bishop Fenwick School at 99 Margin St. on Wednesday at 5:05 p.m. Officer reports no injures, assisted with paperwork exchange. 

Motor vehicle crash reported on Wednesday at 6:16 p.m. at 494 Lowell St. at 2 Priscilla Lane with possible head injuries. Officer reported no injuries or tows and will document.

Hit and run crash reported at U.S. Army Recruitment Center at 257 Andover St. on Wednesday at 10:09 p.m. Recruiter called to report his vehicle was struck in the parking lot sometime that day.


The owner of Atha’s Roast Beef & Pizza at 10 Sylvan St. called on Wednesday at 3:50 p.m. to report they made several deliveries to 10 Bourbon St., Apt. 11 and they have not been paid. Officer contacted the subject who agreed to make restitution. She will bring the money to the station and the officer will bring it to the business.

Caller from 35 Pierpont St. reported a stolen bicycle from the front yard on Wednesday at 6:43 p.m. It was a woman’s Schwinn valued at $200.

Multiple complaints about vehicles parked on the sidewalk at 207 Lynn St. on Wednesday at 7:21 p.m. Officer reports vehicle moved. 

Northshore Mall security from 210 Andover St. called 911 on Wednesday at 8:32 p.m. about five people fighting by Guest Services. Officer advised parties to take out their own complaints in court if need be. Officer will document.

Report of a woman yelling from a green home near the fish market on Union Street on Wednesday at 9:03 p.m. Officer reports the noise was coming from 14 Union St. Officer said there were several people inside

The house talking with the window open. They were advised to keep it down.

A panhandler was reported at Domino’s Pizza at One Andover St. on Wednesday 10:20 p.m. Officer reports the subject was just outside having a cigarette and was asked to move along.

Caller advising there is a small gray SUV parked near 33 Pierpont St. on Thursday at 7:04 a.m. with its hazard lights on and a note that says “Not running, please pick up.” Reporting party said it is in a bad location and the bus won’t make the turn. Officer reports the vehicle is not impeding traffic. unit clear

Report of a parking sign at Brothers Deli at 11 Main St. that appears to have been struck overnight and must be examined and possibly replaced on Thursday at 7:31. DPW contacted. 

Caller from the Newbury Street Inn at 170 Newbury St feels threatened by management because they want to clean her room on Thursday at 9:58 a.m. Officer will document the incident.



Jack Matthew Johnson, 20, of 12 Sumner St., was arrested and charged with threatening to commit a crime and assault and battery on a person over 60 or disabled. 


A report of a motor vehicle accident at Winter Street and Westland Avenue at 5:26 p.m. Thursday; at Eustis St. and Whitney St. at 4:18 p.m. Thursday;


A report of vandalism at 120 Fairmount Ave. at 7:19 p.m. Thursday. 

A caller reported a gas can left in the middle of the road on Pearson Street at 4:38 p.m. Thursday. 

A caller from the Square One Mall reported receiving two $100 bills from a man that purchased a Ring doorbell at 7:27 p.m. Thursday. 


A report of shoplifting at Kohl’s Department Store on Broadway at 2:12 p.m. Thursday. 

A caller reported a man came in and stole chips and stuff from Saugus Center Convenience at 8:01 p.m. Thursday. Police report this is a larceny of $3. The shop owner will be contacting the tech guy for access to the video. 



A report of suspicious activity at 154 Humphrey St. at 1:25 a.m on Thursday; at Crossfit, 171 Essex St., at 7:11 p.m. on Thursday; at 245 Humphrey St. at 1:28 a.m. on Friday.

A report of hazardous conditions at 82 Burpee Rd. at 6:32 a.m. on Thursday.
