Jeffrey Barteaux, 40, of 19 Hanover St., was arrested on a courtesy booking at 11:33 a.m. Tuesday. 

Michael Lewis, 41, was arrested on a courtesy booking at 11:24 a.m. Tuesday. 

Christine O’Connell, 35, of 19 Hanover St., was arrested and charged with two counts of larceny from a person at 11:21 a.m. Tuesday.

A report of vandalism at 4:48 p.m. Monday at 21 Henry Ave.; at 7:08 p.m. Monday at St. Mary’s Cemetery at 190 Lynnfield St. 



A 911 hangup call was received on Monday at 11:37 a.m. from Horvath & Tremblay LLC at 600 Market St. Officer reports the call was accidental. 


Motor vehicle fire reported on Monday at 3:02 on North Broadway. The Massachusetts State Police were notified and the call was handled by the Lynnfield Fire Department. 

Suspicious blue Ford Fiesta with Massachusetts plate 1NDN94 reported parked at the entrance to the Heritage Woods Condominiums at 900 Lynnfield St. on Monday at 9:09 p.m. Officer reports the vehicle could not be found. 

The Peabody Police Department requested a be on the lookout on Monday 11:08 p.m. for a white sports vehicle with front damage involved in a hit and run crash on Lynnfield Street in Peabody. 

Report of a man passed out in a brown van on Saunders Road on Tuesday at 8:34 a.m. Officer reports it’s a Lyft driver waiting for fare. 

Medical Aid 

Ambulance requested on Monday at 2:40 p.m. at 12 Saunders Road. Patient taken to Melrose/Wakefield Hospital.

Medical aid requested at 305 Essex Village on Monday at 5:22 p.m. Patient taken to Union Hospital.

Lahey Health Center at 1350 Market St. requested an ambulance for a patient to be taken to Massachusetts General Hospital on Monday at 6:18 p.m. 

Request for an ambulance at 25 Pine St. on Monday at 7:52 p.m. Patient taken to Salem Hospital.

Ambulance requested on Monday at 9:03 p.m. Monday at 500 Ross Drive. Patient taken to Union Hospital.

Medical aid requested at Sunrise Assisted Living at 55 Salem St. on Tuesday at 2:37 p.m. for an elderly woman who fell, bumped her head and is acting erratically. Patient taken to Melrose/Wakefield Hospital.

Request for medical aid on Tuesday at 8:07 a.m. at 3 Carter Road. Ambulance requested to use the front entrance. Officer reports ambulance was refused.



A caller reported at 2:40 p.m. on Monday that a car hit a parked bus on Turner Road. No injuries were reported.


A caller reported at 10:41 a.m. on Monday that a construction truck was parked on Front Street in a way that a fire truck wouldn’t be able to get through. Responding officers reported the vehicle was gone on arrival.

A walk-in reported at 1:57 p.m. on Monday that people have been pulling up part of the steps on Wyman Road to gain access to the grandstand. He stated it appears someone also painted one of the memorial benches and stole the plaque of another one.

A caller reported three kids were “doing wheelies and someone was going to get killed” on Pleasant Street at 5:37 p.m. on Monday. Responding officers spoke with the kids and advised them against doing that.

A caller reported at 8:03 p.m. on Monday that he was bitten by a mosquito and wanted to know if the dispatcher thought he was going to die. He stated he washed his face and put cream on it. The dispatcher advised him he could send medical services, but he declined. He was told there we no known cases of EEE in Marblehead, but the caller said the dispatcher isn’t a doctor so he couldn’t say whether or not he was infected. He stated he would call back if he needed any services.

A caller reported a man possibly sleeping in a large white truck on Locust Street at 2:37 a.m. on Tuesday. Responding officers reported it was a National Grid truck.

A walk-in reported at 7:36 a.m. on Tuesday that the grandstand on Wyman Road was damaged.



Kenyeda Nnadi, 45, of 110 Pleasant St., Apt. 112, Lynn, was summoned on Monday at 10:53 a.m. following a motor vehicle stop at McDonald’s Restaurant on Main Street for operating an uninsured motor vehicle with a revoked registration, and no sticker. Vehicle towed by Arrington Tow.

Andressa Oliveira, 34, was summoned following a motor vehicle stop at 116 Washington St. on Monday at 3:07 p.m. for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. 

Paulo Vieirade Oliveira, 32, was summoned following a motor vehicle stop at 116 Washington St. on Monday at 3:07 p.m. for allowing unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. 

Pericles Oliveira, 43, of 444 Essex St., Lynn, was summoned on Monday at 7:16 p.m. following a motor vehicle stop in Wilson Square for unlicensed operation of  a motor vehicle. 


Minor motor vehicle crash reported on Sunday at 4:43 p.m. at 124 Washington and 2 Parsons streets. Two tow trucks en route. Officer will document. 

Hit and run crash reported on Sunday at 1:29 a.m. at C&C Lobster at 297 Lynn St. with unknown injuries. Officer reports the suspect vehicle is described as a blue Honda with rear passenger side damage headed toward Lynn. The Lynn Police Department was notified.

Past hit and run crash reported on Sunday at 10:25 p.m. at 30 Warren St. Officer reports no cameras, no witnesses or suspects and will document. 

Hit and run crash reported on Sunday at 1:29 a.m. at the Higgins Middle School at 85 Perkins St. Parent backed into a car and left without notifying the owner.

Minor motor vehicle crash was reported on Monday at 10:31 a.m. in Peabody Square. Officer assisted with paperwork exchange.

Motor vehicle crash reported at Catholic Charities at 13 Pulaski St. on Monday at 4:44 p.m. Officer reported no injuries or tows and will document. 

Animal Control 

Resident of 7 Peterson Road reported a neighbor from Worcester Road is harassing her about her three dogs on Monday at 10:38 a.m. Animal control officer reports the office has not received any complaints about excessive barking and animal control does not get involved in harassment cases and she should call police. 

Report of a dog barking for the past several hours on James Street on Monday at 6:21 p.m. Animal control officer reports multiple dogs barking inside the home at no. 19 but none of the pets were outside and no one was home. 


Loud music from a party reported at 4 Mulberry Drive on Sunday at 3:45 p.m. Officer spoke with the reporting party and after further discussion it was determined the noise was not unreasonable. 

Officer reports he was told about a woman operating a motor vehicle with Massachusetts license plate 29MW92 going into homes on Peabody Road on Sunday at 4:35 p.m. Officer reports vehicle was gone upon arrival.

Caller from 8 Driscoll St. reported a man operating a motor vehicle with Massachusetts license plate CC7OAP followed the reporting party to his home and tried to fight him on Sunday at 4:43 p.m. Officer reports the suspect is no longer in the area but police should be aware of the suspect’s behavior.

Police report they spoke to Cynthia at Dunkin’ Donuts at 527 Lowell St. and told her not to go into people’s driveways or homes without permission on Sunday 4:51 p.m. She told police she was searching for a friend from Facebook.

Complaint about a large gathering at one the headstones in the new section of Cedar Grove Cemetery on Cedar Grove Avenue on Sunday at 5:08 p.m. Officer reports it is a family gathering, not very loud and will be wrapping up at 6 p.m.

Report of a suspicious Kia on Keys Drive on Sunday at 11:30 p.m. with no plates, doors open with hazards on. Officer reports the owner left the vehicle in that condition, nothing missing, nothing out of order.

Neighbor reported loud noise and banging at 21 Caller St., Apt 307 causing debris to fall on him on Sunday at 11:36 p.m. Officer reports it’s an ongoing issue and all is quiet for now. Second call came on Monday at 1:08 a.m. Officer reports all is quiet.  



Leo M. Henry, 40, of 261 Broadway, Somerville, was arrested and charged with a miscellaneous motor vehicle equipment violation, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, and three warrant charges. 

Timothy Vega, 29, of 31 Bonavesta St., Lynn, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor. 


A report of a motor vehicle accident at 308 Central St. at 4:57 p.m. Thursday; at Main and Howard streets at 12:25 p.m. Friday; at 141 Winter St. at 8:14 p.m. Thursday; at 39 Main St. at 1:37 p.m. Sunday; at 266 Broadway at 9:35 p.m. Sunday; at 108 Broadway at 8:24 a.m. Monday; at 168 Broadway at 3:11 a.m. Monday; at 300 Broadway at 7:22 a.m. Monday; at Lincoln Avenue and Central Street at 5:44 a.m. Tuesday.


A caller reported a car behind Boston Market on Broadway that he believes is suspicious at 1:58 a.m. Thursday. 

A caller reported someone threw a bottle through her windshield at 60 Dudley St. at 5:46 p.m. Thursday. 

A car reportedly crashed into a fence at Lynnhurst School with extensive damage to the fence at 1:16 a.m. Friday. 

A caller reported a woman ringing doorbells on Pearson Street at 9:07 a.m. Friday. 

Concrete rocks were reported to be on top of the ramp to the Pratt overpass at 9:45 a.m. Friday. 

A suspicious man banging on the front door of the residence trying to gain entrance at 102 Sweetwater St. at 5:06 p.m. Friday. Police identified the man but said he was not welcome at the residence. 

A 911 caller reported her garage door randomly opened and she was unsure if someone was inside her home at 153 Water St. at 5:19 p.m. Friday. 

A pitbull puppy was reported missing at 23 Myrtle St. at 7:31 p.m. Friday. 

A 911 caller reported he was assaulted by security in the parking lot and would like to speak to an officer at AvalonBay Communities at 10:58 p.m. Friday. 

A Highland Avenue resident reported his shrubbery and flowers were stolen off his property overnight at 8:48 a.m. Sunday. 

A resident walked into the station to report that the lock on his shed was bent at 12:33 p.m. Sunday. 


A report of a breaking and entering a motor vehicle  at 63 Salem Turnpike at 6:14 a.m. Thursday; at 106 Winter St. at 2:28 p.m. Thursday.
