Cory Berard, 30, was arrested and charged with trespassing at 11:32 a.m. Monday. 

Abner Chun Ramirez, 21, of 402 Summer St., was arrested and charged with OUI liquor, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, failure to stop for police, speeding, marked lanes violation, resisting arrest and operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license at 1 a.m. Monday. 

Miguel Cruz, 24, of 117 Lafayette St., Salem, was arrested and charged with violation of the city knife ordinance and disorderly conduct at 1:11 p.m. Monday. 

Santina Lewey was arrested on warrant charges of shoplifting by asportation and trespassing at 2:32 p.m. Monday. 

Luckese Richards, 33, of 4 Kingsley Terrace, was arrested and charged with home invasion, intimidation of a witness/juror/police/court official, armed assault in a dwelling and on warrant charges of Class B drug possession and operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license at 12:14 a.m. Monday. 

Andres Rivera Laureano, of 11 Childs St., was arrested on warrant charges of intimidation of a witness/juror/police/court official and malicious destruction of property at 3:39 p.m. Monday. 

Taylore Spring, 23, was arrested on warrant charges of leaving the scene of property damage and operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license at 10:54 a.m. Monday. 

Willis Taveras, of 664 Western Ave., was arrested on warrant charges of disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and shoplifting by concealing merchandise at 12:41 p.m. Monday.

Motor vehicle crash with property damage reported at 344 Main St. and 3 Heritage Lane on Friday at 11:55 a.m. Officer reports no injuries and the Lynnfield Fire Department said the operator refused medical attention. 

Hit and run crash reported on Friday at 3:42 at Lynnfield High School at 275 Essex St. No details provided. 

Lynnfield Fire Department reported a motor vehicle crash with no injuries on Saturday at 3:03 p.m. on South Broadway. The Massachusetts State Police were notified. 

Caller reported a motor vehicle crash at Condon Circle on Saturday at 5:15 p.m. Officer stood by for paper exchange.


Accidental 911 call was received on Friday at 12:04 p.m. from the Elizabeth Green Library at 18 Summer St. 

The house painter at 7 Durham Drive accidentally triggered the burglar alarm on Friday at 1:37 p.m. 

Football coach at Lynnfield High School at 275 Essex St. accidentally struck the burglar alarm on Saturday at 6:05 a.m.  

Accidental burglar alarm reported at 324 Edgemere Road on Saturday at 3:11 p.m. 

Fire alarm reported on Friday at 7:34 p.m. at 328 Salem St. Call handled by the Lynnfield Fire Department.

Faulty fire alarm reported at Lynnfield Office Park at 40 Salem St. on Saturday at 4:51 a.m. Second call came at 5:51 a.m. Third call came at 6:19 a.m. All calls handled by the Lynnfield Fire Department.

Accidental burglar alarm reported by the owner of  RN Esthetics & Laser at 40 Salem St. on Sunday at 12:41 p.m.

Defective or accidental burglar alarm reported at 21 Prospect Ave. on Sunday at 5:12 a.m. Officer reports house is secure and all appears to be in order. 

Child playing with the phone accidentally at 77 Beaver Ave. dialed 911 on Sunday at 8:28. 

A 911 hang up was received from 7 Driftwood Lane on Sunday at 11:58 p.m. Two cruisers were sent to the scene. No details given.        


Shoplifting was reported at The Paper Store at 105 Market St. on Friday at 10:10 a.m. No details provided.

Parking violation reported on Saturday at 2:53 p.m. at MarketStreet. Caller reported a vehicle is blocking the electric car charging stations. Officer reports the stations are undergoing maintenance. 

Theft reported at The Apple Store at 1220 Market St. on Saturday at 5:13 p.m. Officer took report. 

Injured animal reported by a motorist at 569 Salem St. on Sunday at 5:40 a.m. Caller said dog may have been struck by a car. Officer spoke with party at the scene and the owner took the dog.

Report of an injured deer off road at 505 Main St. on Sunday at 8:52 p.m. Animal control officer contacted.

Medical Aid 

Medical aid requested at the Lahey Health Center at 1350 Market St. on Friday at 6:05 p.m. for a 60-year-old woman with an irregular heartbeat. Patient taken to the hospital.

Caller reported a 4-year-old having trouble breathing at 24 Canterbury Road on Friday at 10:49 p.m. Officer reports patient refused medical aid. 

Request for an ambulance on Saturday at 2:01 a.m. at 306 Ross Drive. Patient taken to Salem Hospital.

Ambulance requested at Lahey Health Center at 1350 Market St. on Saturday at 11:58 a.m. Patient taken to Winchester Hospital.

A 911 call was received from 344 Pillings Pond Road on Sunday at 12:06 a.m. for intoxicated youth. Patient refused medical attention.

Sunrise Assisted Living at 55 Salem St. requested an ambulance on Sunday at 10:13 a.m.  Patient taken to Union Hospital.

Medical aid requested at 719 Walnut St. on Sunday at 5:32 a.m. Patient taken to the Winchester Hospital.

Well-being check requested for a woman screaming in a gray SUV parked at 1 Bay State Road on Sunday at 6:17 p.m. Officer was unable to find the vehicle. 



A report of a drunk man in the street at 9:43 p.m. Sunday on Pleasant Street. A caller reported his son was highly intoxicated, and was sitting in the driveway yelling and screaming. He was also reportedly running out into the street and yelling. Police spoke with both people involved and reported the issue was resolved. 

A report of a noise complaint at 2:29 a.m. Monday on Mugford Street. A caller reported a neighbor was singing loudly in the area. Police found the man and reported he would quiet down. The caller called back — he was swearing and threatened to post on social media about officers allegedly bullying him and not doing their jobs. He also accused an officer of pushing him and was derogatory with the dispatcher. 

A well-being check was performed at 5:51 a.m. Monday on Bessom Street because a man reportedly appeared to be lost. Police reported the man was doing laundry and pacing. 


A report of a structure fire at 5:42 p.m. Sunday on Arrowhead Road. Multiple callers reported a fully engulfed garage fire. Police reported multiple propane tanks had exploded. The garage partially collapsed before the fire was knocked down. The homeowners were not home at the time and were notified. 



Wael Hanna, 28, of 64 Foster St., Apt. 206, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop at 105 Lowell and 6 Crowninshield streets on Friday at 8:45 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and improper turn. Vehicle towed.  

Mario R. Acosta, 61, of 30 Lafayette Park, Apt. 3, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop at the Brown Elementary School at 150 Lynn St. on Friday at 11:29 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol. Officer reports Todisco Tow has the vehicle. 


Neide Honorio, 52, of 22 Otis St., Everett, was summoned on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle following a motor vehicle stop at 36 Foster St. 

Jose Delacruz of 44 Keys Drive will be summoned for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license following a motor vehicle crash on Saturday at 2:56 p.m. The vehicle was towed by Todisco Towing.


Minor motor vehicle crash with people getting loud reported on Friday at 3:27 p.m. at 20 Lowell and 2 Chestnut streets. Officer will document. 

Two-car crash was reported at 11 Margin St. on Friday at 4:15 p.m. Officer reports both vehicles were towed by Todisco Tow. Officer will document. 

Caller reported a motor vehicle crash on Friday at 4:41 p.m. at 46 Prospect and 2 Felton streets. Officer reports Honda was towed by Todisco Tow and the operator was taken to Lahey North. Officer to document.

Hit and run crash reported on Saturday at 1:29 a.m. at 163 Washington and 124 Foster streets. Caller is in the 7-Eleven  parking lot on Main street in a black Dodge SUV and said a gray older model Cadillac with Massachusetts license plate 1AC28 struck his vehicle and left. Officer was unable to locate any info on that plate number.

Two-car crash with airbag deployment on Saturday at 7:52 p.m. at 23 Warren St. Operator of the second vehicle was taken to Salem Hospital with minor injuries. Officer will document. 

Animal Control 

Resident of 12 Macarthur Road reported he has found a lost parrot on Friday at 4:03 p.m. and will care for it until the owner comes forward. Caller said he has pet birds in his home. 

Report of a dog barking for the past several hours at 13 Louis Road on Saturday at 1:04 a.m. Officer spoke to the reporting party and the homeowner.  The dog was inside and the windows were open. The owners came home and quieted the dog.


Officer reports shoplifting at Macy’s at 210 Andover St. on Friday at 3:50 p.m. Company will handle, party will be barred from the mall for one year.

Walk in from Boston Chimney & Tower Co. Inc. at 24R Caller St. reports a past larceny by a former employee on Friday at 4:39 p.m. Officer to document.

Complaint of an erratic operator driving a small gray Toyota SUV on Friday at 4:41 p.m. Downtown units were unable to locate the vehicle.

Caller from 6 Winthrop St. reports hearing footsteps in her upstairs hallway on Friday at 8:13 p.m. She called out thinking it might be a relative, then an unknown party ran out back. Caller then discovered her purse was missing. Officer will document. 

Operator of a silver Ford Explorer at St. Thomas the Apostle Church at 1 Margin St. reported 10 youths were throwing eggs and rocks at vehicles on Friday at 10:51 p.m. Police reported he confronted them, they scattered, one of the teens dropped a cell phone and the suspect came forward. Reporting party not interested in filing charges. Phone was returned to the owner.

Caller from Azorean Brothers of the Divine Holy Ghost at 20 Howley St. reported he was kicked in the testicles by a patron on Saturday at 12:31 a.m. Police reported she was asked not to return and she left without incident. Victim said he will go to Peabody District Court on Monday to take out charges.

Reports of a large piece of metal at Route 128 North and 208 Andover St. on Saturday at 8:32 a.m. The Massachusetts Highway Department was notified and they will have someone pick it up.

The manager at Dunkin’ Donuts at 527 Lowell St. reports there is a woman in a motor vehicle who appears to be passed out on Saturday at 10:04 a.m. Officers checked the lot and the vehicle left prior to their arrival.

Person walked into the station and said there’s an abandoned red Ford on Veterans Memorial Drive on Saturday at 12:51 p.m. The officer spoke with the owner who said her front right tire broke all the lug nuts on Friday. She said it will be removed by Wednesday. She said her grandson attends Essex North Shore Agricultural & Technical School where the vehicle will be going for repairs.

Leasing office at 33 Keys Drive reports there is screaming and banging from Apt. 11 on Saturday at 2:14 p.m. Manager said they have a history with the residents being confrontational. Officer said the resident hit her head while cleaning the apartment. There is not an issue.

Northshore Mall security reports a customer wants to report their purse was stolen at Rack Room Shoes on Saturday at 2:50 p.m.  The officer stated that the purse was found.

Breaking and entering into a motor vehicle was reported on Saturday at 5:12 p.m. at 180 Lowell St. The reporting party parked at his home last night. Left for work today and noticed his car had been gone through with $5 in change taken. Caller wanted to have suspicious activity noted in the area.

Employee of Knights of Columbus at 96 Main St. requested patrols through the parking lot on Saturday at 6:45 p.m. He was told by guests there are people smoking marijuana in their cars in the parking lot. Area officer notified of the request for increased patrols.

Caller reports his mother walked away from their home at 15 Bourdon St., Apt. 63 on Saturday at 11:39 p.m. No clothing description available at this time. Person was located prior to officer arrival.

Juan Espinol walked into the station to report that an unknown suspect(s) spray painted the hood and the driver’s side of his mother’s motor vehicle with Massachusetts plate 5FB677 some time overnight on Sunday at 6:13 a.m. at 8 Sherman St. Officers filed report.
