A report of suspicious activity at 9:24 p.m. Saturday on Brown Street. A babysitter reported seeing someone in the yard looking at the house. Police reported she opened the door for an officer and determined that the person she thought she saw was a flower in the yard.

A report of a motor vehicle hit and run crash at 6:52 p.m. Saturday on Baker Road.
Complaints
An officer was flagged down by a woman at 11:14 a.m. Saturday at Coastal Heritage Bank on Nahant Road who reported she was not happy because construction workers were currently cutting stone next to her residence. She thought the workers were in violation of working hours and days. The woman was told they were allowed to work on Saturdays.
A report of a water incident at 12:20 p.m. Saturday at Bailey’s Hill lot. A caller reported there was a boat that had run ashore in the cove, but the occupants were safely ashore. The harbormaster was notified. An officer reported the occupants were not in distress and had arranged for the boat to be towed.
A report of suspicious activity at 12 a.m. Sunday on James Avenue. A caller reported a man pulled up in a black truck, parked, got out of the vehicle and was lurking around a yard across the street. Police reported the man was checking on one of his rental properties.
A caller reported a horn was sounding intermittently in the area of Nahant Road and Wharf Street at 12:53 p.m. Sunday, which was causing a disturbance. An officer checked the area and reported it was quiet. The caller called back an hour later to report the horn was sounding again. Police responded again and reported there were no horns sounding.

Randy S. Powell, 56, of 145 Lynn St., Apt. 1, was arrested and charged with failure to stop/yield, operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license and on a warrant at 9:14 a.m. Friday.

A report of suspicious activity at 4:48 p.m. Thursday at Skate Park at 27 Perkins St. A caller reported a suspicious man in his 20s was sitting in a gray Subaru and taking pictures or videos of juveniles in the park. An officer reported the man was playing Clash of Clans and waiting for his mom to pick him up.
Suspicious activity was reported at 6:12 p.m. Thursday at 3 Jennifer Land and 350 Lowell St. A caller reported a man in his late teens was walking toward Lowell Street with a rifle in his hands. An officer checked the area and didn’t find anyone matching that description.
A suicide attempt was reported at 6:53 p.m. Thursday on Briarwood Avenue.
Suspicious activity was reported at 8:59 p.m. Thursday at 16 Castle Circle. A person was reportedly looking for a cat that was scaring neighbors. An officer assisted in the cat search.
A disturbance was reported at 10:14 p.m. Thursday at 15 Crowninshield St. Security requested assistance with loud noise and a door that was cracked open. An officer woke up the resident, who shut off the TV and went back to sleep.
