A caller reported a landscaper came down Knight Avenue, a “private road,” and was rude to a resident at 9:04 a.m. on Wednesday. They stated the drivers can’t read and claim they didn’t see the private road signs. The caller said they are going to get more signs.
A caller reported at 11:29 a.m. on Wednesday that a black convertible was parked on Pleasant Street in front of a restaurant all morning.
A caller reported at 11:52 a.m. on Wednesday that she received a letter mailed from Fullerton, Calif., that asked her to sign up for a neighborhood network free of charge. She brought the letter into the police station and was advised it was a scam.
A caller reported a turtle crossing Norman Street caused a traffic issue at 1:34 p.m. on Wednesday. At 1:48 p.m., she called back and stated they scooted the turtle off the road and brought it to the side. Dispatch advised her not to disturb the animal any further.
A caller reported an ongoing issue with a woman parking on a Cypress Street sidewalk at 6:41 p.m. on Wednesday. Responding officers reported there are cars parked all over the place due to a possible event at the school. Five vehicles were tagged for various violations.

Giane Silveira-Dias, 47, was summoned following a motor vehicle stop at Peabody Bread at 168 Main St. on Tuesday at 6:54 p.m. for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and a red light violation. Officer waited for a licensed driver to take the car.
