Earl Colby, 27, of 82 Wyman St., was arrested on a warrant charge of shoplifting by asportation and a default warrant at 9:56 a.m. on Friday.


Julio Done, 40, of 47 Webster St., was arrested and charged with reckless operation of a motor vehicle, a marked lanes violation, and leaving the scene of property damage at 5:34 p.m. on Thursday.


Richard Hitchcock, 63, of 37 Green St., was arrested on a warrant charge of shoplifting by asportation and charged with a straight warrant, unregistered motor vehicle, uninsured motor vehicle/trailer, number plate violation, and operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license at 12:15 p.m. on Thursday.


Leah Pahlm, 46, of 103 Liberty St., was arrested and charged with unarmed robbery, possession of a class A drug, and possession of a class B drug at 7:12 p.m. on Thursday.

Accidental fire alarm at 481 Salem St. was reported on Thursday at 2:02 p.m. Call handled by the Lynnfield Fire Department. 

Food on the stove sounded a fire alarm at 16 Stafford Road on Thursday at 6:55 p.m. Call handled by the Lynnfield Fire Department. 

Accidental emergency alarm sounded at 1104 Essex Village on Thursday at 7:01 p.m. Officer reports the person is OK.



A complaint about burning at 2 Squire Road was reported on Thursday at 7:10 p.m. Officer reports the call was unfounded, handled by the Lynnfield Fire Department.

Property check of Lynnfield High School at 275 Essex St. on Thursday at 7:13 p.m. School appears to be in order.

Woman from Lynnfield Commons at 375 North Broadway, Apt. G12

came into the station to ask for an emergency restraining order on Thursday at 7:27 p.m. Officer spoke with the woman on how to obtain an order from court.

Caller reports vehicles are parked on both sides of Trickett Road and vehicles can’t get through on Thursday at 7:29 p.m. 


Medical Aid

Officer requested at Town Hall at 55 Summer St. on Thursday at 9:17 a.m. for an elderly woman with an unknown problem.

Ambulance requested at Riverside Community Care at 6 Kimball Lane on Thursday at 5:43 p.m. Patient taken to Everett Hospital.

Medical aid requested for an elederly woman having difficulty breathing on Friday at 5:29 a.m. from Sunrise Assisted Living at 55 Salem St. Resident taken to the hospital.

Ambulance requested from 406 Ross Drive on Friday at 6:11 a.m. from a resident who is not feeling well, in pain, and suffering from nausea. Patient taken to Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Peabody.




A caller reported a motor vehicle crash involving a truck and a bicycle at Lafayette Street and Widger Road at 9:45 a.m. on Thursday. The bicyclist declined any medical attention. 


A DPW truck radioed in at 2:49 a.m. Friday to report a two car motor vehicle crash they were in at Beach Street and Atlantic Avenue. One suspect fled the scene and headed toward Marblehead Neck.



A caller reported at 11:52 a.m. on Thursday that she was in the area of Pleasant Street and a man was following her and calling her racist names. She stated bystanders stood by her until she called police. She described him as a white male with a light blue shirt and dark pants with black hair and glasses. Responding officers were unable to locate the described male.


A caller from the Village School called and reported a kid fled the building and went into the woods at 12:35 p.m. on Thursday. By 12:58 p.m., responding officers had custody of the student and brought him back to school. 


A caller reported at 12:59 p.m. on Thursday that they were concerned for an elderly man holding a sign in front of Ace Hardware on Atlantic Avenue. Responding officers found him gone on arrival.


A caller reported at 10:09 p.m. on Thursday that her son went to school in the morning and never came home. By 10:29 p.m., responding officers reported it was a miscommunication between the mom and son on where he was going after school.




Derek Smith, 48, of 63 Andover St. was arrested on Wednesday at 9:32 p.m. for tressaping at Town Variety at 116 Central St. 



David Swanson, 47, of 9 Pleasant St, Hamilton will be summoned for leaving the scene of a motor vehicle crash on Thursday at 9:14 a.m. at Workout World at 216 Newbury St. 



Hit and run crash reported on Wednesday at 5:38 p.m. at 17 Sewall St. Officer assisted with minor crash, no damage to the reporting party vehicle.

Report of a Scion SUV that struck the guardrail at 43 Bartholomew St. and 99 Glenway Ave. and headed toward Lynn on Thursday at 1:58 a.m. The Lynn Police Department was notified. Officer reports minimal damage to guard rails and a stop sign  that was knocked down at Glenway Avenue will be delivered to the Department of Public Works. Operator will be summoned for operating with a suspended license and leaving the scene of a property damage accident.

Motor vehicle crash reported on Thursday at 12:08 p.m. at One Newbury St. Officer will document the accident, no injuries or tow trucks.

Multiple vehicle crash near Starbucks at 240 Andover St. on Thursday at 4:01 p.m. Officer assisted with paperwork exchange.



Report of a man in a Boston Red Sox shirt intoxicated walking the yellow line at 649 Lowell St. and 2 McKinley Road on Wednesday at 4:04 p.m. Officer could not locate the person. 

Resident of Shore Drive reported she was scammed for $3,000 by telephone on Wednesday at 4:49 p.m. Officer will document. 

Caller reported she lost her wallet on Wednesday at 8:15 on Andover Street after pumping gas. She left it on the hood and drove off. It contains a small black single fold with license and credit cards. 

Fight in progress reported at Burlington Coat Factory at 310 Andover St. on Wednesday at 8:58 p.m. Caller said he saw seven men jump another party in the store, possibly gang related. Caller also said he heard mention of a knife but did not see one. Officers checked the area and spoke with parties and there were no fights.

A caller reported low hanging wires on Vine Street at 1:43 p.m. Thursday.

A caller at Target on Lynn Fells Parkway reported the sounds of gunshots being fired in the area at 8:43 p.m. Thursday.

A 911 caller reported a coyote sitting near the sidewalk in the overflow parking lot for Spud’s Restaurant on Lincoln Avenue at 7:04 a.m. Thursday.
