BOYS SOCCER
Shawsheen 2, Tech 1
The Tigers dropped their first Commonwealth Athletic Conference game of the season.
“We kind of shot ourselves in the foot,” Tigers coach Eric Moreno Sr. said. “We had a lot of chances to put the game away. We made a big mistake scoring on our own net when the game was tied 1-1. We had about five or six opportunities on goal and we didn’t take advantage.”
But there are positives.
“I’m continuing to see my team improving and showing the skills they have,” Moreno Sr. said.
Tech (0-1-1) plays Classical Saturday (3) in the championship game of the Lynn City Tournament.
