A report of a motor vehicle hit and run crash at 11:38 a.m. Tuesday at 75 Market St.

A report of an opiate overdose at 2:06 a.m. Wednesday on Whiting Street.


A report of motor vehicle theft at 8:42 p.m. Tuesday at 110 Franklin St. 


A report of motor vehicle vandalism at 11:07 p.m. Tuesday at 62 Nahant St. 



Woman reported a motor vehicle crash with no injuries on Tuesday at 7:38 a.m. at 1 Saunders Road and 694 Main St. 

Lynnfield Fire Department reported a motor vehicle crash in front of the station at 600 Salem St. on Tuesday at 5:39 p.m. Gaeta’s Towing en route.


Security company canceled the burglar alarm at 1 Sparhawk Drive on Tuesday at 12:15 p.m.


Bus driver reported a vehicle passed the school bus on Tuesday at 2:03 p.m. at Lynnfield Commons at 375 North Broadway. 

Caller reported tree limb on Rockwood Road on Tuesday at 8 p.m. Call referred to another agency. 

Medical Aid

Police received a 911 call about a man experiencing hallucinations at 9 Willis Lane on Tuesday at 7:15 a.m. Patient taken to Salem Hospital. 

Ambulance required at 206 Ross Drive on Tuesday at 9:04 a.m. Patient taken to Union Hospital.

Medical rescue request from Lahey Hospital & Medical Center at 1350 Market St. on Tuesday at 1:45 p.m. Patient taken to Beverly Hospital.

Request for an ambulance from 506 Salem St. on Tuesday at 3:17 p.m. Patient taken to Lahey Hospital & Medical Center.

Caller reported she locked her infant inside her car at MarketStreet on Tuesday at 3:15 p.m.  Call handled by the Lynnfield Fire Department. 

Report of smoke coming from the Lutheran Church on Lowell Street on Tuesday at 4:34 p.m. Officer reports smoke coming from a neighbor’s outdoor burning. 



A walk-in reported at 7:57 a.m. on Tuesday that the workers on Bayview Road keep blowing leaves in his yard. When the resident approached the worker, he stated they told him to “f*** off.” They were advised about obtaining a harassment order.

A caller reported construction vehicles parked on both sides of Leicester Road, making it difficult for vehicles to get through at 9:41 a.m. on Tuesday. Responding officers reported the road as passable. 

A caller reported at 12:02 p.m. on Tuesday that a student fled the Village School. He returned shortly after with his teacher.

A walk-in reported at 2:31 p.m. on Tuesday that her husband’s phone rang today and his name came up on caller ID, but he is deceased. Dispatch explained “spoofing” calls to her.

A caller reported at 2:40 p.m. on Tuesday that a female school bus driver was texting and driving near Pleasant Street and Mohawk Road. Responding officers spoke with the bus company, advised them of the complaint, and informed them the registration for the school van expired in June.

A caller reported at 2:54 p.m. on Tuesday that there are “issues” regarding school traffic on Maple Street. She stated that people are all over the place honking and almost hitting children. She wanted to know if an officer could monitor the area at the beginning of the year to help alleviate the issues.

A walk-in reported at 7:02 p.m. on Tuesday that she recently moved to Marblehead and found her jewelry went missing. She stated she had it on her person while traveling up and when she finally had her belongings moved the items went missing.

A walk-in reported at 7:14 p.m. on Tuesday that he witnessed a younger white male pacing back and forth while on the phone on Atlantic Avenue. He stated the man was shirtless and shoeless and was outside doing that for 20 minutes. Responding officers reported he was fine and was just waiting for a ride.



A 13-year-old juvenile was arrested following a report of a dispute between mother and daughter at 124 Foster St., Apt. 2. The girl is charged with domestic abuse on a family member and was released to the custody of her grandmother on Monday at 9:57 p.m. 

Henry Ryan Sweeney, 38, of 18 Main St., Woburn, was arrested on Tuesday at 9:56 a.m. following a motor vehicle stop at McDonald’s Restaurant at 133 Main St. and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license for OUI and on three warrants. The vehicle was  left in the parking lot.

Misael E. Macario Chun, 23, of 12 Wisteria St., Apt. 1, Salem, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop at the Sports Collectibles at 14 Peabody Square on Tuesday at 11:44 for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Car towed by Phil’s Towing.

Nicholas Edward Bard, 28, of 12 Walker St., Apt. 2,  Everett, was arrested following a domestic disturbance on Tuesday at 12:29 p.m. at the Holiday Inn at 1 Newbury St. He was charged with domestic assault and battery on an intimate partner and strangulation. 


Eliane Goncalnes, 43, was summoned following a motor vehicle stop at Gentle Dental Care of Peabody on Main Street for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, seatbelt violation, and failure to yield on Tuesday at 10:11 a.m. 

Joshua D. Hernandez, 20, was summoned following a motor vehicle stop at 34 Main St. for operating an unregistered and uninsured motor vehicle on Tuesday at 10:51 a.m.

Augusto Olacio, 47, was summoned after a motor vehicle crash at 92 Walnut and 2 Mount Vernon streets on Tuesday at 4:19 p.m.  


Motor vehicle crash reported at Kappy’s Liquor at 175 Andover St. on Monday at 3:39 p.m. Officer reports no injuries, assisted with paperwork exchange. 

Two-car crash reported at 33 Centennial Drive and 7 Summit St. on Monday at 3:57 p.m. No injuries reported. AAA en route.

Report of a Honda struck a home at 25 Goodale St. on Monday at 5:29 p.m. Officer reports no injuries and vehicle was towed by Gaeta’s Towing.

Two-car motor vehicle crash reported at 124 Foster and 163 Washington streets on Monday at 7:28 p.m. One passenger complained of neck pain but declined an ambulance. 

Motor vehicle crash reported at 166 Lynnfield St. on Monday at 6:50 a.m. 

Report of a motor vehicle crash at Dunkin’ Donuts at 120 Newbury St. on Tuesday at 4:04 p.m. Officer reports no injuries and will document. 

Animal Control 

A loose German Shepherd was reported at 22 Tracey St. on Monday at 8:16 p.m. The officer was unable to capture the dog which took off down Dennis toward Fulton. The dog may have returned home.


Fireworks complaint reported at Spring and Winter streets on Monday at 4:26 p.m. The group was having a cookout and told to stop fireworks.

Resident of Louis Road reported she has seen occupant of 34 John Road involved in drug transactions while parked on Louis Road. Caller did not have plate numbers but described one vehicle as a black pickup truck with firefighter plates. Complaint was forwarded to the department’s Criminal Investigation Division on Monday at 4:45 p.m. 

Caller reports fireworks near 70 Washington St. on Monday at 7:20 p.m. Officer spoke with parties and they will stop lighting fireworks. 

Report of a hornet’s nest in the tree at the entrance to the Welch Elementary School on Swampscott Avenue on Tuesday at 9:11 a.m. The Department of Public Works was contacted and the Tree Department will be dispatched.



A report of a motor vehicle accident on Lincoln Avenue at 7:05 a.m. Tuesday. 


A report of a man wearing headphones lying in the middle of the street on Bailey Avenue and not moving for vehicles at 12:38 p.m. Tuesday. 

Street lights in the area of Hamilton Street and Periwinkle Park were not working at 12:45 p.m. Tuesday.
